Grabbed Towson moneyline at +160 when they were down by 9. Almost paid off

I want to personnly thank Rob for bring life to our program. For those that say I am a Rob Supporter, I am. I am a supporter of the program period. I started with Gordy (1991 - when there was no fundrsiing at all for football) and was a super Gordy Supporter. I started the Quarterback Club to help Gordy and the program raise funds (funds the school by the way would not give the program). I don't want to go into all the things I have done to help this program, but I can tell you it is more than any of you all have done combined. When Gordy was let go, I became a Rob Supporter. I will be a Super Supporter of whoever the next coach is too. For me it's not about who the coach is, its about the program. I get behind whoever the coach is and give my TOTAL suppoprt to him. I have been involved for 31 years (as a volunteer, never paid for anything I do). My wife and I have been to every game home and away for 31 years (Minus the Eastern Washington game in 2013 due to canceld flight and snow storms). Can any of you people who are so negative about this program say that! I hope that the next coach gets all the support from the Admin he needs for US to be successful. I know that I will be a big supporter of whoever it is, because thats what I do, SUPPORT THIS PROGRAM with my heart and soul.
So whoever the next coach is, I am your biggest supporter. Go Tigers

Ed, no argument here that you are the programs #1 fan. I think everyone who knows you (or knows of you) realizes all the effort you have put in over the past few decades. However, your post makes it seem like the rest of us aren’t worthy of having an opinion. We all want Towson football to succeed, that’s why we post here. A lot of us felt that RA’s release was overdue. And while we can’t all be super fans like you, that doesn’t mean that we don’t support the program.

Estrada with 27 again. Averaging 24.5 ppg now. That’s top 10 in the nation.

At least they were clutch with the free throws. Good win.

Hopefully Dr Steve sees the light and knows that a fresh start is the right move.

One more to throw out there:
Billy Cosh. One of the most accomplished HS QB’s of all time in the state of Maryland and currently the Offensive Coordinator and Passing Game Coordinator for Richmond. He also comes from a coaching family.

I wish I could tune in but Flo is not taking my $$$. It’s so terrible.

Reminds me of when I was a student and a deer jumped off the Glen Bridge and killed himself.

I know that transfers seem to be the norm for QB at the FCS level but I miss the days of recruiting homegrown talent like Sean Schaefer.

Should be some great payouts.

OTOH, I would assume he’d have little difficulty snagging an assistant’s gig at an FCS or FBS school. Let’s get through our season and see if he even has to look for a new job. I know all the arguments in favor of concluding he won’t be back here next season, but I’ll believe it when I see it. Never say never
Maybe Jared advocates for him at Albany

More affordable, easier accessibility, safer, don’t have to deal with drunk asshole ravens fans etc. Being remote helps them a good bit, but they also put money into their programsI think the point being made wasn’t specifically about in person attendance. People only have so much free time to invest in sports and the majority of people in the Towson area are going to devote their attention to the Ravens. If you have a family and can’t devote your entire weekend to watchihg sports, odds are the average Towson resident will skip paying for FLO and just watch the Ravens on Sunday.

2016 - Beating 2nd seed and defending national champion Denver in the playoffs
2017 - defeating 2nd seed Syracuse in the quarterfinals to earn first final four berth since 2001
2019 - beating #1 Loyola

Towson favored by 25.5. Give me Morgan to cover

This is probably the worst I’ve felt after a win in a long time. The product on the field gave me zero confidence going forward that this team can even remotely compete in conference play.

Very sloppy game. Navy with 3 first half turnovers but their defense held Delaware to just 7 points.

While the final result is disappointing, Don Metil has established a conference powerhouse that now routinely makes the NCAA Tournament. The same can’t be said for pretty much any other sport on campus.
