Now to Towson's credit, they did send an email out on Wednesday about the tournament, tickets, arena info, parking, FREE Pregame party, etc.

Heard they had a bus for students, but I don’t see anything on the front page of the website hyping the tournament or talking about alumni get togethers.

Agreed but a lot of the voting probably took place before that game. I personally waited.

There are only two really good teams: Drexel and Delaware. We played Delaware down to the wire in the first game. Played poorly last night at the jump and then Kubek gets hurt (elbow to the eye). That doesn't help as we have little depth up front and most of the depth is at the 1-3. Not saying they would have won with her, but the game would have been much tighter. Don't see them beating Drexel without her or if she's less than 100%.

I'm thinking we get 2 or 3, I think Cam is a bubble to get on first team, I wonder if an JMU players get on there. Still a few games left. This is not my ballot, but who I think they will take. If Charles continues to dominate the paint, he's getting third team and he's probably getting DPOY. It's tough to see him as an All-CAA player when he's only averaging 10.6ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.6bpg. Coach Rich ran to get to that interview. "Tough game. Started really slow. Dug a deep hole. Down 25. Battled back a bit, but not enough." "They were knocking down shots." "They started out, hitting shots and getting in transition. Hard to get back into the game from a deep hole against a good team."

This game is over. No clue why Dianne Richardson didn't call timeout after Gary hit a three to cut the lead to 10. The ref thought she did. But she did not and Delaware just continues to either score, get the rebounds off misses and score again. Make shots and when you don't get the rebound. Pretty simple game. And when you are down big, I don't get the long 2s. Nice comeback to get it to 4. No doubt, Tucker is tired. She's not used to playing that many minutes and Kubek being out was devastating. But she was there early when Delaware jumped out big. Not sure they were ready to match Delaware's intensity, which again is strange considering they barely beat us last time. Very disappointing loss. 85-71.

I still don't agree with that call as it completely changed the game around. Now Delaware pulling away after Dickey charges into Tucker, who might have been late. They aren't going to foul her out. One thing this team does not do is give up.

Absolutely terrible f-ing call on Tucker, who is called for a charge and an obvious flop, when she did a spin move. Probably why you should never give the ball to a big on a break when they have to put the ball on the floor. Still terrible. Beyond. Ref was 25 feet away and just saw the flop.

Drexel is very fundamentally sound. They move it and pass it even better than Delaware. Our halfcourt offense is a mess when Kubek is not on the floor. Add that to the fact that Kornegay-Lucas is having a tough game that equates a DD loss. What has really disappointed me tonight, aside from the terrible start, is the defense. It hasn't been good all night. It's one thing is Dickey is beating you and another thing when the rest of the team is beating you when she's been sitting nearly half the game due to foul trouble.

Ball movement and passing by Delaware has been beautiful. Towson just jacking up long 2s. That's not going to get it done without looking inside.

That's all the guards have done all game. Shoot, shoot and shoot. Never passing the ball, esp. Nelson.

This one is over. Couldn't take advantage of Dickey being out. Down 13 and Kubek just seems like a decoy and screener.

Kornegay-Lucas is probably having her worst game as a Tiger. She had a 2-on-1 fastbreak and was picked because of a predictable chest pass. In the first half, she missed 3 bunnies in a row on put backs in traffic. Still down 7 but have to take advantage of Dickey being out. Well, forget that as Skinner just hits what looks like a 3, but called a 2. She's by far their best player with Dickey out. How do you not show on that screen? You have to help out the guard on that play.

Kind of playing in spurts. Got the lead down to 4 and then gave up a 5-0 run. That included a Dickey 3. Then Skye Williams just hit a tough running left-hander over Dickey who picked up her fourth foul with 4:49 left. Lead down to 7 with 3:49 left in the third quarter. Kubek finally back.

Delaware up 43-30 at the half. Could have been a lot worse. Not sure what's up with Kubek. She came in for a minute. Took an open 3, threw up an airball and went back to the bench. The intensity was ratcheted up and Gary's two threes really got them going. Still a long ways to go, but have to come out better in third quarter. Hard to figure out why they had no juice to start the game. You can do that against UNCW and some other teams, but not Delaware. It's a habit that could eventually doom this team in the tournament.

Alright, Aleah Nelson hit a 3. 36-20 with 3:14 left. Now 36-20 as Hens call TO.

Now down 36-17. Kubek is back and Gary just hit two treys. At least showing some life.

Down 36-11 with 4:37 left in the second quarter. This is as bad as I've seen this team play in years. Complete no-show and Delaware is playing perfect basketball. And this is at SECU. They are doing it without their best player Jazmine Dickey, who has two fouls and has not played in the second quarter. To make matters worse, Kubek has not returned from the locker room. We're just going down the court and throwing up quick 2s.

Down 27-9 after one quarter to Delaware. Couldn't play worse on either end. And Koubek is injured. Took a shot in the eye.
