This one is over. Couldn't take advantage of Dickey being out. Down 13 and Kubek just seems like a decoy and screener.

Kornegay-Lucas is probably having her worst game as a Tiger. She had a 2-on-1 fastbreak and was picked because of a predictable chest pass. In the first half, she missed 3 bunnies in a row on put backs in traffic. Still down 7 but have to take advantage of Dickey being out. Well, forget that as Skinner just hits what looks like a 3, but called a 2. She's by far their best player with Dickey out. How do you not show on that screen? You have to help out the guard on that play.

Kind of playing in spurts. Got the lead down to 4 and then gave up a 5-0 run. That included a Dickey 3. Then Skye Williams just hit a tough running left-hander over Dickey who picked up her fourth foul with 4:49 left. Lead down to 7 with 3:49 left in the third quarter. Kubek finally back.

Delaware up 43-30 at the half. Could have been a lot worse. Not sure what's up with Kubek. She came in for a minute. Took an open 3, threw up an airball and went back to the bench. The intensity was ratcheted up and Gary's two threes really got them going. Still a long ways to go, but have to come out better in third quarter. Hard to figure out why they had no juice to start the game. You can do that against UNCW and some other teams, but not Delaware. It's a habit that could eventually doom this team in the tournament.

Alright, Aleah Nelson hit a 3. 36-20 with 3:14 left. Now 36-20 as Hens call TO.

Now down 36-17. Kubek is back and Gary just hit two treys. At least showing some life.

Down 36-11 with 4:37 left in the second quarter. This is as bad as I've seen this team play in years. Complete no-show and Delaware is playing perfect basketball. And this is at SECU. They are doing it without their best player Jazmine Dickey, who has two fouls and has not played in the second quarter. To make matters worse, Kubek has not returned from the locker room. We're just going down the court and throwing up quick 2s.

Down 27-9 after one quarter to Delaware. Couldn't play worse on either end. And Koubek is injured. Took a shot in the eye.

It's a start. This isn't like beating the Mount. They lost to Hopkins by one and we were crushed by Hopkins. They don't have Pat Spencer, but still a good win on the road.

Richmond was just a terrible loss and to see the way our defense has played this season, it was nice to see them and Brennan step up tonight. Though I thought Brennan struggled on a few shots in the first half. Maybe he just needed the lights in the second half. Our offense at times is a juggernaut and at times we look as though we've never played together. Berkeley had some terrible turnovers at the end, but you don't win the game without his presence. DeMaio on the other hand was not good to be kind. Five turnovers for a shooter is not good. And that's pretty much what he is right now. A shooter. He needs to just make the simple pass instead of always looking for the assist. It was nice to see Stewart get a big goal. I think he's an underrated player and I like to see his experience on the second unit.

I have to admit I was befuddled at why Santora didn't play in the first half when Constantinides went won just two of the first 12 face-offs. So he wound up winning 8 of 23, so he won 6 of 11 in the second half. They obviously made some kind of adjustment. Certainly not a pretty game, but defense was strong and Brennan stepped up big in the second half. He's been up-and-down so far, but he was huge in the second half. Offense was a struggle at times. Ended up with 16 turnovers. At times, they try to be too fine with their passes, looking for the home run. But they did just enough. Huge to get back on track at Loyola. Still not sure why Austin Stewart didn't play against Richmond. They were going with this small second middie unit of Reid, Bender and Josh Webber. But Stewart came on in the second half and his goal might have been the difference. He also passes the ball well and we can use that.

Charles Thompson scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Towson to a 69-57 win over Delaware on Monday night from SECU Arena. This was the resumption of a suspended game on Jan. 27 that was suspended due to unsafe playing conditions. Towson started out down 38-29 with 18:42 left in the game, but quickly made a statement with a Jason Gibson three. They took the lead with 15:19 left on a steal and dunk from Terry Nolan Jr. at 41-40 and they never relinquished the lead. The Tigers won a share of the CAA title with UNCW, but won the tiebreaker based on beating third-place Hofstra twice. Towson will be the first seed in this week's CAA Tournament and will face the winner of the William & Mary/Northeastern game on Sunday at 12pm in Washington D.C.
