    First lax transfer reported

Could use a big, athletic scoring midfielder. If the Maryland kid is healthy, he looks like a feeder a bit like Drenner. Or a fast short stick defensive midfielder in the Goodrich mode.

    A gymnastics transfer

This is a first for me. Seems like added depth looking at her freshman scores. https://uicflames.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6044

    2019 OOC opponents

I agree that the home schedule is not very exciting but the overall OOC is solid. I'm not paying for the games so I'm not going to defend playing locals and D3 teams, but what is wrong with getting new teams like Kent State and GW? ACC teams are not showing up at SECU. No Big 10 teams are. Temple is not showing up again at SECU. Now would I like to get maybe ODU and VCU back in a home-and-home? Sure. We played ODU already (not a success). You also have to remember you are building a home schedule to play teams you can beat in front of the students before they leave on break. Getting Kent State and GW makes more sense than say an elite A-10 team and a top C-USA team. Now looking back, maybe Skerry could have gotten a Providence or a Pitt because he coached there? Inglesby did get Notre Dame to play though Mike Brey having coached at Delaware helped. So it's really as Chris said about connections with the high-major program you want to host and you basically have to play a 2-for-1 or 3-for-1. Back in the day, we never hosted any big teams at the Towson Center aside from Louisville (because we lucked out and they needed a team) and Michigan (Brian Ellerbe was the coach, former Loyola coach). The Towson Center absolutely rocked for those games unlike any other matchup other than the ECC championship in 1990 and 1991. SECU has never quite rocked like that and to me, there is not atmosphere because people are wandering around the concourse when there is a big crowd. But I digress.

    Some new roster additions

Now Robert Topps from Kansas is very intriguing at 6-2, 205 or so. He might not start because we already added two juco safeties in the offseason and well, he doesn't have much experience. But I certainly think he will help out on special teams. A 3* prospect who played mainly special teams at Kansas in his freshman season. Doesn't hurt that he's All-Academic High School: Rated a three-star prospect by ESPN.com, Rivals.com and 247sports.com … Helped Marist HS to an 8-2 record and a playoff berth in 2016 … Named First Team All-East Suburban Catholic Conference playing for head coach Pat Dunne … Helped the Redhawks to a 2015 Illinois State Championship appearance and a 2016 ESCC championship … Posted three interceptions, a blocked field goal, two punt blocks and a special teams touchdown as a senior … Also lettered in basketball.

    Some new roster additions

By the way, it's Brown Tuiasosopo, not Brian. He benches over 400 and is a beast. Check this out https://www.hudl.com/video/3/6109099/5baa91994decbb144c4becd2

    Some new roster additions

I heard Gilmore was big but not sure that weight is right. He's there for depth as I think Bryant will be the right tackle and Tuiasosopo the right guard. Yes, another nose guard is needed. They are not done yet from what I hear, maybe adding two more D guys and one more on O (hopefully RB). I think the potential at D-line is scary: Vinnie Shaffer, Jesus Gibbs, Bowman, Byce Carter, Tibo, even Q. Alexander can play defensive end if they go 4-3, which who knows. The new DC could mix it up. Some of those weights are not accurate. Well, accurate to maybe 2-3 years ago. For example, Gibbs is not 275, he's around 290+. If you go with Shaffer (310ish), Gibbs (290ish) and Bowman (275), that's bigger than last year's line already if they are going 3-4. Even r-freshman Prince Ukpai (around 260) could rotate with Carter and Tibo (285). But I'd like one more big 300+ dude in the middle.

Coach McDonald is 6-1 so he could be 6-3 or close

    Some new roster additions

He's big and fast. My guess is, that if he's ready to start at OLB, they move either Keon Paye or DeBerry inside to play next to Heyward. Only thing he lacks is experience.

    2020 Basketball offers

I think he's more of a combo guard. Depends on his size. Read he's anywhere from 6-1 to 6-3. Looks about 190.
