    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

https://charlotte49ers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5692 Sounds pretty raw and needs a year in the weight room.

    UMass dominates MLax, 14-10

I’m sure there was zero pressure to win in football this year. As for lax, some of that goes on the coaching staff. Teams have adjusted to our offense. They are getting back in transition and some of it is just as plain lack of intensity and hunger. The worst thing that could have happened to us was being ranked number one. I thought it was great at the time but we didn’t handle having a target on our backs very well.

I never liked Monahan at midfield. I think he should have played from behind the net on attack. Maybe move Fromert to midfield. I don't know if people noticed today when Brody McLean was somehow caught up on defense and got beaten badly for a goal.

Agree although the team was just not ready to play. There was no intensity and really hasn't been the past few weeks. That's on the coaching staff. The midfield was just plain awful today. Shot selection, lack of speed. Sovero should play more because he can at least shoot and has a very hard shot when it's on target. If we don't make the CAA playoffs, this will be one of the strangest seasons of any program in the history of the CAA. How the eff do you go from No. 1 in the nation, to smoking Hopkins, beating Loyola and then getting crushed at home on Senior Day. I'm starting to question Nads a bit. Last season was a bit of a fluke because of the suspension to Mazza and the losses of Drenner, Seider and Lynch. But at some point, you have to replace those guys. And now Sunday, Woodall, Monahan, and Maloof are all gone. They refused to add to the offense by adding a transfer, which was desperately needed on offense. Probably two. They still have a chance to run the table and host the tournament. If they don't make it, it will be one of the biggest downfalls in this program's history. But I think they take at least one. Woodall should be fine, Canto was pretty good today despite the score but sure, he struggled against the long worm burners. As for Maloof, I don't it's just shot selection. It's shot placement. Go high to low or low to low. Not just try to hit the high corners. Sunday is a pretty darn good player. Monahan and Maloof have their moments. I was hoping that Greg Ey could be that Mike Lynch-type that could break defenses down with his speed. He's not there yet; maybe next season. The other guys are just marginal. We really need more dynamic offensive players and a guys that are more efficient passers.

    Baseball is now 3-24

Well, at least baseball won a series from a bad Hofstra team. In all honesty, I thought men's soccer should have been kept. It was a more successful program and had a better history. But baseball had more political power. It's very tough for them to compete with so few scholarships. The crappy weather doesn't help.

    UMass dominates MLax, 14-10

I really think there's a lack of talent on offense, but there's no excuse to come out that flat on Senior Day. Everybody is up to play a team that was once No. 1 and was 2-0 in the CAA and you can't match that intensity? The shooting was horrific all day. You have a 5-11, 270 pound goalie who can't move that well but is saving everything at his stick or higher. Maloof went 0-for-11 and most shots were high. The kid couldn't save the low bounce shots and well neither could Canto today, although he made a few spectacular saves. Defensively, I was in shock of how poorly we played. Give a lot of credit to UMass. Their passing and ball movement was crisp and their middies were super quick. That got buy our shorties too easily. Special teams were horrible. The man-down unit has been very good until this game. Man-up, we almost always end up taking a long shot for some reason. Signs of a poor passing team that lacks a legit feeder ala Ryan Drenner/John Blatchley/Spencer Ford/Ryan Obloj. I think Monahan is the best passer on the team but he was stifled today. Entire midfield was save for the third unit when they brought in Drew Laundry and Sovero and Tim Montgomery took over for Brody McLean late in the game. As Quint Kessenich said about a week ago, Towson is just another team without Woodall and Canto. Woodall was not great today and Canto needed to stand on his head to win.

Made it a little closer but you can't play five minutes of good lacrosse and expect to beat anybody. Final UMass 14-10.

    UMass dominates MLax, 14-10

Just complete domination by the Minutemen. I don't know what else to say about this one but the at-large hopes are probably over. Now they have to win the tournament, most likely on the road, assuming they make it. Delaware on the road next week is a must-win. If they play anywhere close to this, they will get waxed.

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Talked about him earlier in the thread. Interesting that TCU (Jamie Dixon) is interested in him. His shooting is suspect but can rebound well (4.6rpg) for a 6-2 guard and is solid defensively. Once again, scored 24 against us last year but not sure he would choose us, knowing that Timberlake is a r-freshman and Betrand is a sophomore. Howard will be gone so we definitely could use depth at the 2. If Timberlake lives up to his potential, I'm fine with Nolan as the backup with some ability to play some point. But I assume he'd want to come into a situation where the starting two is a senior this year. Coppin would probably be ideal if he wants to start. But if Timberlake is just meh, then sure, he'd be a nice backup plan, especially if he continues to improve his three-point shot. And yes, the last three-star guard from Baltimore and Mount Carmel to play at Towson was Troy Franklin.

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2018/5/9/17311748/ncaa-transfer-rules-change-guide-list-sit-out They still have to sit out and lose a season of eligibility, so they if Quinton Drayton had transferred after he redshirted his freshman season, he would have to sit out another season and lose a year, thus becoming a sophomore. Since he transferred after one season and played 10 games, probably can't apply for a medical hardship. So he's going to lose that sophomore season and will become a junior when he transfers because he already had a redshirt season. Not fair but those are the rules.

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

No. He needs to have graduated academically or have a special reason to play right away like parent is sick, sibling health issue, etc.

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Now up to 565. Latest transfer is 3* Myles Douglas from UCF and Aberdeen, Md. Played just one season. Redshirted last season. Has two years left and has to sit out assuming he didn't graduate. Went to Paul IV and is a Team Takeover guy. Pat O'Connell follows him on Twitter for whatever that's worth. http://ucfknights.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=34100&ATCLID=211761896

    More WBB transfers

Camp was going to start at center because Maia Lee graduates. Anyone who watched the games knew she had tremendous potential

    More WBB transfers

I would think that two are about playing time. No clue about Flynn and Camp, who I assumed would be the starter over the next three seasons at center.

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Slowing down some. Now at 541. Latest is Jordan Allen from Rider, who is a r-sophomore. Now if he transfers and sits, he'll only have one year left, assuming he hasn't graduated in three years. Maybe he has. Had a very good freshman season but tailed off as a sophomore. https://gobroncs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4826 Another good sophomore is out there. Eric Williams Jr. from Duquesne. (he's good but pass on another Duquesne transfer) https://goduquesne.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5005

Chris Clarke from Virginia Tech is a bit above our pay grade. Maybe he'll transfer to UMBC to play for Ryan Odom, who apparently is waiting for the Wake Forest job to open up.

    2019 Basketball Offers

Chad Lott is an interesting grad transfer from Howard. Was a three-star, started out at Rice. Avg. 14.3ppg on 43% 3pt shooting. https://hubison.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5261
