Probably just decided to graduate. Agree that we did miss his presence on attack. A crafty guy.

That Wilson game was played in the same place the CAA title game and Towson is headed there in the regular season. The new Mystics Arena. Gibson had 24 points though the highlights show most of his misses. I thought he tried to force it a bit inside against the 6-9 Mitchell twins. That was a good test for what he'll see in college. Need to use more of a floater or dish it out to an open shooter. I noticed he was doing that late in the game and found open guys. A couple of nice dishes. https://washingtoninformer.com/sidwell-friends-upsets-wilson-in-title-game-with-buzzer-beater/

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Up to 389. Hofstra just lost a Euro who plays 10 minutes per game. Surprised that they don't lose more of their bench guys that don't play any minutes. Navy just lost three players.

Touché. Called a swing and a miss. He also wasn’t playing against a lot of Casey Morsels in Fort Lauderdale. The numbers looked great but competition wasn’t. He lacked foot speed. There was very little film on him for the public to see. Now we know why. There is a lot more video on Gibson but if people are skeptical because of all the past failures-fine. I’m done arguing. What this kid has is different than any other point guard we’ve had under PS. At worse, he’s a quicker Four Mcglynn with much better handle. He’s not perfect but he does give most of us hope and that’s all we can ask.

Starters are not minor contributors but keep trying to twist your facts to enhance your arguments and sure, I will not give up on thinking that Solomon could eventually become 12-8 even though I was a bit disappointed with his play this year. Sue me for having some preseason practice optimism. If I just came out and destroyed every player, who the hell would want to watch them?

No, let’s just say he was a solid pickup. A good shooter. But at least you’re predictable. Smh

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Experienced point guard. All-defensive type who shot 39% from 3-point. Redshirted last year due to injury. Stanford and Mizzou on him already so I guess it's not happening. https://wmubroncos.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=7388

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

https://florida.rivals.com/news/report-keith-stone-transferring-from-uf Now he had an ACL tear in January so a big risk there but 39.3% 3-point shooter at 6-8, 240.

Maine is now up to five transfers. None of them are that appealing save for junior Isaiah White, who averaged 13.5ppg.

As for Knight, unless he can get drafted in the second round, there's no way he leaves. Now if he gets his degree early, that's another story. He can transfer to a P5/6. I have not seen Knight's name in any mock draft. I don't think he has a shot of being drafted. But damn, I don't think I've ever seen so many players leave a program.

I think strength is important in today's game but no, he doesn't have to be a bodybuilder or look like Jakigh Dottin. When you say enough about his strength, there's a reason why he wasn't heavily recruited and that's probably No. 1. But it worked out for us. He just needs to get stronger, not huge. There are so many screens in this game, that you do need the strength to get around them or you will be bounced around like a pinball. He doesn't have to be Gary Payton but he can't be a huge weakness on D where everybody will go after him on the other team. I think he'll be fine. Look, Jordan McNeill redshirted his first season and was about 170 pounds at 6-5. He gained about 25-30 pounds. While it didn't make him a starter or even a quality starter, he at least became a serviceable defender. Tunstall added 20 pounds last year and was solid but he was 208 the year before Maybe some guys got too big. Look at Al Thomas at 6-9, 275. He had no virtually no mobility before the hip injury. Skerry will always want his guys to defend. Most coaches do. The fact that he's changing a bit on the recruiting front is a good thing. Timberlake, Gray and now Gibson is a step in the right direction. Even Howard was a 39% 3-point shooter but he's not a point guard and not a great defender. Charles Thompson sounds more like the typical Towson bigs of the past apparently, without having seen him much.

Yeah, there are options. I don't know if I want a finesse four, though Gray I think will be more finesse. Verbal Commits list up to 358, adding 25 more or so from yesterday.

Because you shoot down anything that is remotely positive on this board. Zion Williamson could transfer here and you’d say, “Skerry doesn’t play sophomores who weigh 285 pounds.”
  18. Leaving out special teams for now and yes, Flacco is playing baseball. Probably will be very limited in the spring. QB Flacco, Stover, Miller, Raines, Tristan Harris (6-1, 195 could be moved to safety) RB Simpson (5-9, 200), Kobe (6-0, 210), Yeedee (5-10, 215), Platt (5-7, 190), J r-fresh Sean Bryan (5-7, 175) FB Luke Hamilton (5-11, 234) Perkins (6-3, 264) TE Chris Clark (6-5, 255), M. Early Look/Speculation on Spring Depth chart

Ok, looking back at what I saw in the spring: QB. Flacco, Stover, Miller. If Flacco gets hurt, I still see Stover come in because he is a similar-type of quarterback. They don't have the change the offense for him. Miller can't run some of the same things. But next season is a different story. We're getting bigger offensive lineman. You need huge blockers to create more time for Miller. RB: Shane is the No. 1. Yeedee will be the short-yardage back most likely. Kobe Young the backup. After that, Adrian Platt and Sean Bryan fighting for playing time. But once again, very small group. WR: Very tough to tell how good the WRs were in the spring in that crappy weather. Leatherbury, J. Allen, D. Street, B.Richardson, D. Hunter, C. Greaves, D. Thompson, J'Alen Elliott all in the mix, Very deep group. TE: Luke Hamilton, Perkins RT? Cheripko was the starter in the spring. RG: Alex Desire was the starter in the spring Center: Brandon Cassels was starter in spring. Transfer will likely start. LG: Gryzmkowski LT: Andrew Garnett TE: Clark, Wright, Hirschmann, probably could use one more big blocker type 3-4 defense (need a transfer nose guard and ILB) NG? Vinnie Shaffer was injured (knee?), Tommy Danagogo, DE Jesus Gibbs (could move to NG), Tibo (inj. but should be ready to go by summer) Sam Gyeni DE Bryce Carter, Marcus Bowman OLB/Bandit Ricky DeBerry, Malik Tyne, Bryce Lauer (inj., may move to DE) OLB Keon Paye, ILB Robert Heyward ILB Christian Dixon, Ryan Kearney CB/S Jamal Gay and Mantriel Reaves will likely battle for one safety spot; juco transfers SJ Brown and Stanley Davis for the other CB Terrell Gillette could and should move to the slot. I see Jirhe Love and Brandon Shuman as the likely starters with Robert Javier pushing them. Troy Vincent Jr. will fit in somewhere and on special teams. I don't think there's anyway they start Love and Javier as r-freshmen, even though both are very talented. Voshon McCants is no longer on the roster.

Except for last season when freshmen played a ton but considering Howard is probably moving off the ball, why would Gibson not play? His defense isn’t that bad but lack of strength could be an issue. I could see us playing more zone next season. Dottin is the only other point guard and even though he started, PS did not have a lot of confidence in him playing late in games due to his poor shooting and shaky decision making.
