They discussed the D.C. Armory, which seats 7,000+ but that place is way too old. But the women hold their tournament at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro and that holds 5,800. I guess the proximity to hotels and entertainment (MGM?) isn't that great. http://showplacearena.com/1651/Show-Place-Arena-Equestrian-Center https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/sports/wp/2018/06/18/washingtons-new-basketball-arena-lands-the-caa-mens-basketball-tournament/?utm_term=.4610df2de9fe

Nice location but not thrilled about the size of the facility. I wonder if they'll even allow the pep bands now or at least shrink them 50 or less. Good news is that it's within 3-4 hours or less for Delaware, W&M, Drexel, Towson. Less than 5 hours for Elon and Hofstra and less than 6 from Wilmington. http://stelizabethseast.com/entertainment-sports-arena/ http://www.rossetti.com/work/project/washington-dc-entertainment-sports-arena

Good for him. This might be his last chance to shine.

GW is a decent fit. Not sure about Houston, though maybe he just needs to get away. He also has to work on his defense but his best fit was the CAA. I thought he could have been a 16 and 8 guy. Oh well.

So let's see, even though Zane had the ball in his hands the most of any players in the conference, took a million shots, played little defense. was very unclutch at the line and from the field. The dude had the ball in his hands in the last five minutes in every game last season and how many big plays did he make last season? A few? The Morgan State long 3-pointer to send it to overtime? The coach put him in position to carry the team and while he scored a ton of points, he also wasn't very efficient. I don't know what other coach is going to put a fairly untested sophomore into that kind of position. I'm not going to be naive and say that PS' style is for everybody. But if ZM thinks that the grass is greener at Maryland, Gonzaga or Clemson, he's in for a rude awakening. Maybe the best thing for ZM is to sit out one season and learn how to be a team player. Because those coaches are trying to win ball games first and then get you to the NBA/Europe/G-League second even if they may say another thing. Their best chance to win is not for Zane to launch 20 footers on a 1-and-3 fastbreak. That won't happen with those guys. But on the other hand, ZM should get better looks, because he'll likely be playing with better point guards (99% likely) and solid post players. He won't be the top option; more like the 3rd or 4th and he most likely will be coming off the bench unless half the team leaves for the NBA, which is always possible nowadays.

That's what makes this team a mystery but also should be fun to watch. You really don't know what to expect with so many players who have no D1 experience (Drayton, Dottin, Timberlake, Selcuk, Solomon, Fobbs, Betrand). But Sanders and Howard do have some.

http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/college/football/bs-sp-towson-tom-flacco-transfer-rutgers-20180606-story.html So at least there's competition for Stover and maybe Miller. I assume they want Miller to redshirt this season and compete with everybody else in the spring. But if he's incredible in the summer and the other guys aren't showing much, you have to go with the best man wins. I think it will be a very interesting summer with three very different quarterbacks trying to run the show.

That's pretty early for the roster to be out and before the fall football roster. Really don't need a 6-10 or 6-11 player in the CAA though that would be a nice bonus if they can play. We've had a few of those who couldn't. What they need is a point guard that can run the show, score, dish and limit the turnovers. Everything else will follow if Howard can be the guy for two years. What I do like is how big the freshmen are. Even Drayton is now 206 pounds at 6-4 after being listed around 180 last year. Solomon U. at 6-7, 230,Selcuk at 6-7, 235, Dottin is big for a point guard at 6-2, 211, thought Timberlake was a little bigger than 190 at 6-4. Fobbs is a solid 213 at 6-4. Big Al up to 268 but I think he'd be a little more effective at 250ish. http://towsontigers.com/roster.aspx?path=mbball

Sounds like it’s a matter of too much construction and too little space for a restaurant.

Good athlete and former baseball draft pick. Saw he ran a 4.5 which may be a stretch but remember Joe ran about a 4.65 coming out of Delaware. Can he run an offense and throw the football? Is he a better version of Connor Frazier? Who knows. He wasn't the transfer QB I was expecting over a month ago, but heard about this possibility a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't say anything at the time and was more intrigued than excited. Not a lot of film on him.

Haven't heard why,
