Defensively, I know we're not playing the most athletic teams, but I sense we're quicker and longer without Moto and Davis.
-
Playing two freshmen, two sophomores and a walk-on point guard is starting to show on both ends. I do like Drayton. I think once he gets it together on the defensive end, he can help. Seems like a natural scorer.
-
First timeout of the game by Towson, now up 70-46 after McGIll hit 3 straight treys.
-
Also watching Ravens, a T-West TD!!!
-
Up 63-32 after 3 quarters. Drayton now in there along with Ingram, who has looked pretty good. Just don't think he'll play much when Morman returns.
-
Another Gorham hook! Up 59-30.
-
Getting a little sloppy in the 2nd half. I guess that was to be expected with such a big lead. Bad shot selection and turnovers but defense still solid.
-
Van Rolle has been very impressive as the backup point guard
-
-
Up 48-22 after another Zane 3. Defense was sensational. They couldn't handle the zone press, which well, most teams did ok against. We are just bigger and quicker. Amazing that we're this fresh after playing 5 games in 5 days. Skerry not coaching. Letting his assistants Clark and O'Connell coach.
-
Two Justin Gorham jump hooks. A Thomas jumper? Everything going well save for our old nemesis. FT shooting. Up 45-22.
-
Tunstall blocking everything in sight. McGill down by 12 because they've hit a few 3's. That's about all they can do They hit 16 against SMU, which is why they hung in there. Of course, that's not our game.
-
Also playing with a 24-second shot clock. Have had two violations already.
-
Up 22-10 after 1 quarter. Zane with 8 points. Van Rolle coming off bench as backup point guard. Gorham has looked good as well coming off bench. Not sure about EK at the 4 but they don't have many other options.
-
Wow, impressive defensive team when Tunstall is on the floor. Up 14-5 with 5:01 left in 1st quarter. This is a team that took SMU to overtime.
-
Zone pressing early. I wouldn't expect to see much full court pressure playing five games in five days. Zane Martin has hit two threes early but seemed to ding his ankle. Up 11-5 in first quarter. Playing FIBA rules.

Hey, James Naismith went to McGill. Last game of the Canadian trip for the guys.

1 hour ago, Moleman said:With 5RB & 2 steals also, Tunstall continues to impress. A bit more offense, together with few more (like 15) pounds and continued experience and he'll be a complete package..
Ingram shows some good stats also. But Prophete didn't see the floor.
Prophete played. He just didn't score but had 3 assists and 2 assists in 15 minutes. Tough for a freshman point guard to play this early. I'd have to see some kind of film to see how he played. Tough to tell in a boxscore. I don't know if Tunstall will ever put on more than 5-10 pounds and his offense is based on putbacks and dunks right now, which is fine. The bigger problem for him and Sanders is foul shooting.

Carleton fans still stunned we beat them. They beat Alabama by 12 tonight. We beat Laval 70-51. No Brian Starr or Zane Martin.
Jordan McNeill 16 points
Van Rolle 12pts
Al Thomas 7 rebs, 5 blocks
Tunstall 3 blocks- 1

Third game in three days. Another big game for Zane. No real coverage of this one.

Must say, I like the way Gorham and Tunstall have come up in the program since 9 months ago! "The future".. With luck, Prophete, Drayton and Ingram will develop similarly as they watch from the guys in front of them..
Yeah, Sanders is probably the best post player we have and he's ineligible this year.

Hmm, looks like Sanders is in a boot on the bench. No wonder he didn't get a little bit of time tonight.
