If the Tigers went 2-16 in the regular season in conference, but pulled off a conference tournament win....everyone would be whooping and hollering as to how great a season it was...WE MADE THE DANCE!!!!!!!!!...but go 16-2 on conference and lose in the first round....THIS SEASON SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! I stand by my thought....25 exhibition games and 4 days that matter.

If one is to be realistic, in the CAA, each team plays approximately 25 exhibition games. The only games that matter are tournament games. The Orioles can win 2/3 of all their spring training games, but who cares. Same with CAA basketball. One bid league period. That is the only way to measure success.

Did you read the Towsontigers.com article about Alumni Athlete fundraising challenge. Dan Crowley said it would be great to get 15% of alumni giving back to the program. He then said that is only 1 in 10 alumni. We need to redo the math on that one. -

And next year, every student will get a 5% increase in student fees for athletics when 95% of them don’t give a damn. I am surprised there has not been larger student protests. Maybe the passive attitude isn’t just about athletics.

Does not matter. The department can’t afford it. Maybe in the future, put incentives for 20 win seasons, but penalties for 20 losses. We are longing for Mike Jaskulski and Tamir

This really is a balanced league. No team is truly outstanding. I guess that bodes well for us. If I had to choose a team it would be NE only due to the combination of somewhat above average talent along with superior coaching.

The team surely has improved. In the end, though, it is very hard to win when you only have one offensive threat. They do make up with that, somewhat, with effort. But as a famous Baltimore sportscaster, Charlie Eckaman once said, There are only two plays, South Pacific and put the ball in the basket. One more scoring threat is really necessary.

Or get a shooting guard whose shot selection is not so subject to question. This is a “guard” game and you need two guards you can count on if you expect to win anything other than The Battle of the Boardwalk

If PS has made offers to every point guard east of the Mississippi, I think you can figure out who is in the future plans.
