Okay...a RB and a QB. Not a bad start in positions of need. Hopefully this starts the ball rolling downhill a bit. Towson is a bit behind JMU and Nova in number of 2021 commits. Would be nice to get some front seven guys on defense.

This creates so many questions. How are scholarships impacted? The simple fix is playing an abbreviated season in the Spring. That way you don't have to be concerned about granting another year of eligibility or balancing scholarship numbers for 5 classes when 2021 kids arrive.

With 12 schools there could be a North and South division with only 1 or 2 crossover games a year to limit travel expenses. JMU may want to be FBS but be careful what you hope for. Other than power 5 they could go from losing a lot of money to losing a whole lot of money.

JMU can't play themselves....would be a mistake to load up on FBS schools. Would also be dumb to play if conference is playing in the Spring. Can't do both.

That is my point. The NCAA could issue waivers for 100 scholarships but can post COVID FCS budgets afford them? It's going to take excellent leadership and creative critical thinking to work through all of the issues.

Hope you are right. Another issue....if we don't play this year what happens to scholarships? We only get 62, right? If the seniors retain eligibility and the incoming freshman class of 2021...how do you handle that? You would have 5 recruiting classes on campus at the same time. Even if NCAA gave some sort of waiver could school budgets afford the additional 15 or so full rides? This mess is like an onion.

Well there goes payday games for FCS schools. If all the P5 goes conference only then many FCS programs will not be able to make budget to play. Dominoes will start to fall now.

Most likely Dartmouth game is canceled not postponed I would think. Ironically I believe the Maryland game is the most likely to be played. It's the first game. It's against FBS opponent and FBS schools seem determined to play. Also since it's the first game it will likely be played even if the season is shut down after it starts. I think that is most likely in D1. Season shutdown a few weeks into the season.
