Agree with a lot what you’re saying. Elon AD made some bad hires early on but his last couple in hoops and football have paid off. New arena too. Their old gym was literally a church with pews lol. I don’t mind people using Towson as a stepping stone. That means they accomplished something (hopefully) here. Would rather that than stagnant mediocrity(if that). Looking at you Pat and Rob In 2018 Elon AD made 285k. In 2019 Tim Leonard made 280k

He has something like 24 and 22 against Oregon state and a few other 20 point 15 rebound games. penn is the only team we’ve beaten so far with a win… they likely aren’t awful but not good by any means. Dingle is a good scorer. Lack of depth is going to hurt us as 4 of the next 5 games are difficult to say the least

Nice win over a tired team. Tigers having 3 scholarship players out and another defector, evened it out. Cam was incredible. very good run from the under 8 timeout in first half spanning the first half of the second. Shooting from the outside was again poor but missing some of the “better” shooters certainly didn’t help. Need to continue to push the pace and get those steals out in transition

Not a genius. But one of the only one here that didn’t think this was ATLEAST a playoff team. Not an AD, school president etc. Just an alum, fan and donor. So I don’t know or care who would take over the team. Doesn’t matter. New voice is needed in the program. Seriously people, who watched yesterday’s game and the last 7 or so seasons (hell any without 28 in the backfield) and says to themselves, “sign me up for more of that. It’s going well. Give me another year of this product”? What the hell is wrong with anyone thinking that. He has had a long time to succeed and aside from a few good years, hasn’t. every other program/sports team in the world (jobs too!), fires coaches who don’t win/succeed with the exception of Towson University

It’s got to be the system being ran. Pretty much every d1 transfer who has come here shot worse than where they did before. Most players here longer than 2 years rarely develop; mike, Zane? Davis a bit.

SOPS. Pitt is awful and we still lost. 4 games in but it only looks like 1 of the 3 (impact) transfers is living up to the hype. Holden is legit. Won’t use the players name as to not be mean, but 1 just likes to chuck up shots left and right. He does seem to make some good passes which is a plus. But man the early regression in the transfers and returners on the offensive end is frightening. It gets more difficult to score the further you get in the season during conference play Sorry 2024 only see two players that could average more than 12 per game on this team, one cause he’s good. The other just due to minutes. 3-4 others in the 6-9 ppg window Agee with your view on Pat. But this is one of the better non conference schedules. We are playing a lot of teams that are winnable games but no real gimmes like in years past. Monmouth looks good, USF, Ohio state, uncg are also good. Penn is always solid. Kent isn’t bad. Thankfully we aren’t stuck playing d3 and Morgan Loyola umbc teams like in the past

Those two teams combined to 17-47 and 2-34 in the acc.. we yaked up an 8 point lead with 4:30 left at pitt and down 1 with 4 left at bc
