Fact Unless our last game is against JMU and they bring 3k fans, attendance is always bad for the home finale. Fact If you’d like to dispute those, I would love to hear it. Noon or 1PM, it doesn't matter, for the last game of the year against a no name program, with likely bad weather and no playoff implications. If they get more than 50 students, that should count as a win. Should do an all inclusive ticket for like 5 bucks, that gives you a seat anywhere you want for football and volleyball, and an upper level seat for hoops. For students should get a free meal or something at the basketball game, if they get a card stamped after halftime/second set for the first two events.

Personally, not a fan of paying players (them receiving money for jerseys with their names on it, and appearing in commercials, etc. Yes), but so is the way of the world now. Just made my contribution to the GOH collective for Men's Hoops. Hope everyone else who can, also does and we can hit that $25K match.

Didn't see that anywhere. I heard South Carolina and know we play them in a few years down in Columbia for football. Not a bad game though. Those are the type of mid-tier power conference ones we need to play. Granted they did have a good season last year and play solid defense and our physical style..

Since we aren't playing Power 5/6 or whatever number it is anymore, a MW team wouldn't be bad. Utah State, Boise St, etc

UNH is and always will get the benefit of the doubt. Looking at the schedule vs rankings we play, 1, 4, 16, 10, 2, 12, 14, 11.. so a lot of the good teams and a lot of the bad teams. Also looking at our scehdule, we could very well start 1-4 which means they would have to run the table to make the playoffs.

at first glance you see 9 and go, "Wow that's low", but then you realize there are 16, SIXTEEN! teams. Not a good sign when 2 and 5 are on the way out the door. Also, not playing Delaware hurts. Isn't this their last season?

Would make too much sense. CAA needs to get a conference partner or atleast release their league schedule earlier. Since there are 5000 teams in the conference, can play an ooc against one you don’t play twice. And one of the coolest nicknames in sports

10 games on the books, looks like 3 more are needed. 2 of which should be after the season opener and before the home opener. Very meh, as usual.. Though 2 Saturday home games in OOC, before Christmas, is a rarity.

Very nice that they invited the alums back and they showed. Hopefully they support the program financially as well. This type of support has not been the norm until recently. Kudos to them for putting this event together. You’re usually very optimistic and these reports are some good then some bad. Wish we had more consistency. The 5 spot is going to be rough and besides our choking down the stretch, will be our downfall

Good information and some good questions/topics asked. My takeaways; a lot of the same. Disappointing that we seem stuck on the status quo being in the CAA (I know no one will have us). LOL to teams coming back or taking the drop to FCS football.. yeah right. Like trying to schedule Delaware for basketball and hopefully other sports, makes too much sense. Trying to be creative with different ideas with NIL, that's a plus. Expanding the stadium?! WHAT WHY?! That Alston thing is interesting, so our hoops players could receive; that, NIL and COA? If so, that seems pretty good... Finally, the Osler Bridge. LMFAO. We have been hearing about that forever (not an athletics issue, but the University overall). I truly believe that we will make it to the dance before that bridge gets built.

I would really F'ing hope its next to nothing.

No doubt they are tough guard no matter who, but they are quicker than said 5 man and taller than said 5 man. Hopefully he gets back to his Wofford years. He wasn’t awful offensively last year and gets some offensive boards but his knack for fouling and poor defense cancel that out
