    2019 Game Predictions

HAHAHAHAHHA. Well, I mean, if its the same as last year we will just go 8-4 and get smoked by Duquense again, right? Carbone wasnt a good QB, addition by subtraction. Not their Defense's fault a KR for a TD, and two fumbles inside their 25 lead to 17 points, Does 35-28 sound better to you? Elon's RB who played against is back. Their QB who started against is back to playing Defensive Back.. The new coach will be 11 games in by the time they come around. Looked at roster and I'll give you their offensive line will be a lot of R-Fr, but do have two that started all season last year back. WM was woefully out-manned last year against us, and they had a lead at half.

    Flo Sports

https://towsontigers.com/news/2019/8/13/general-eleven-towson-events-announced-on-flosports.aspx Is anyone signing up/has done this in the past? Quality of the feed? Can you share accounts (numerous people logged in)? I enjoyed the games on Comcast, where you could watch out of town games, but this may be worth it for road hoops and football games...

    Prognosticators?

that has always been our issue

    Prognosticators?

Alright obvious sarcasm. What does everyone else think on 2019?

    Prognosticators?

Damn. As much of rob hater and as negative as I am, can’t see 2-10. Schedule is tough, both teams and travel but if we had an average defense last year we wild have been better than the record. Can see this team being pissed off from the end of last year, getting their asses embarrassed and beat in the last two home games, and winning 8 games, or the expectations being yo great and finishing 5-7, 6-6. But 2-10 only happens if Tom get hurts

    CAA Football Media Day thread

Hopefully they use the embarrassment of getting blown out the last two games, 69-27 at home!, of last year as motivation. The offense and special teams should still be good, but as always the defense is the concern. 10th in points allowed 28.8/game, Dead last in yards allowed, 390/game, and 11th in Turnovers with just 16. If the defense can just get a little more aggressive and force a few more turnovers it will put tons of pressure on other teams. This years schedule is extremely tough. If you take out Bucknell, this years opponents were a combined 71-50 last year. We also play (some polls) @#1, @#4, H#12, @#19, H#24, H#25 and also @ FBS #8. That coupled with long road trips to Charleston, Maine, & Florida, makes for a very difficult year.

Good job on their part splitting the brackets up. Would be nice to win atleast one there again but unlike 4 years ago this field is solid to very good. We are the weakest in it

    2019 OOC opponents

Right back at you. Well it starts with the AD. The philosophy for home games just isn't good. I can understand the crappy dates (during breaks) like we normally have if they are against good teams, but not against the bad ones. it is nice that they do have early games and dont start on the road. We aren't getting UNC, Duke, etc thats obvious but we should be able to get 2 for 1's with the Penn State's, Rutgers, Temples, Georgetown, Marylands, VCU. Other teams in the CAA get those. Some of those teams are better than us, some are worse, but they get them. One weekend game and its against Goucher? Weekend vs weekday games are night and day in regards to attendance. Most of The A-10, MAAC, Am. East, NEC are very close to campus. I do like the DC games even though Tulane was even worse than us last year!

They should have a rule that restricts anyone from transferring after the end of the spring semester. Season is over for 2 months and gives them an opportunity to view the landscape. Smaller schools should ban together and block the late transfers after a certain date, and make the player/parents pay for the sit out year.

Hoops twitter is telling me to buy season tickets for their 13 home games, so we have 4 OOC ones.

2 for 1 but still, UVA is a national champion and a much better program than MD, but yet we couldn't get them in a 2 for with us..

WM plays at OU this year, gets Wofford at home JMU has a 2 for 1 with national champion UVA. They are coming to Harrisonburg in 2020 to open their new arena Charleston is at Richmond, Home vs Oklahoma State, UNCG and VCU (will get UNC in Charleston in a few years) UNCW gets UNC at home
  22. Very interesting that brantley went first and both picked by the same team. Hopefully they both can make the team but it will be tough.

also from NE schedule, looks like we play them, and thus Hofstra, the first week of CAA play at home, and then go to both of them the final weekend of the season.

Let's talk Towson Hall of Fame

Agree with all of those listed. Not going to get in, but I would put Marcus Damas up there too. 3 years, solid player, leader on and off the court. Committed to a team that was awful and played his first year on an even worse team. But I feel like he laid the foundation for what is mens hoops today. With that said it would have been to have him here for 4 years.
