    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Nope, an error on my part. The highlighter function on my computer is to fat. 14 of 27.

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Grant Riller has put his name into the transfer portal as a grad transfer **joking but it will probably happen

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

15 of the top 27 scorers from last year are either graduating or have put into transfer 9 of the top 18 rebounders 6 of the top 15 in assists

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

He has a track and field practice to participate in (not making fun of his appearance like people thought in the past)

A few more videos from Gibby

LOL. Don't fight it man, not worth it. But are you speaking of Gibson? He seems like has semi lanky arms?

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Let me preface this by saying, "I know there are a certain few here who will vehemently disagree with me no matter what." With that said, sure the lack of TV deal has something to do with it, as does coaches leaving (WM/Elon). The CAA not winning anything in half a decade certainly hurts, as does a lot of the soft scheduling by the bottom institutions of the league (Towson included). But the grad transfer rule is absolutely killing mid and low majors. When it first started, it helped lower level programs as we go the scraps of Power 5 players, who were fringe players there. Once those schools looked at the good talent at the smaller schools, it was over. Mid/low majors have become farm systems for the Power 5 programs. With all of the transfers leaving along with graduation, there is ZERO excuse to not be a Top 2-3 team. (part of that was sarcasm, but some on here used that as an excuse last year, lets see how the other teams respond)

"Starters" who do not play starter minutes and are so in name only are not major contributors. 2.5 points and 2 assists in 18 minutes is not major, even for a team that cannot score. I did not mean you with Solomon. There were others on here, one of the TSU, who thought he would be 12-8 as a freshman, they also believed Prophete would be a legit scorer the minute he walked on campus. It doesn't matter if I tell you Towson's mascot is a tiger, you will say its a giraffe, moving along...

Let’s agree on one thing.. if we are not top half next year (assuming wm guys all go and maybe Riller) the seat better be made of flames. Ne, jmu, del top 3

Yep stating facts is negative. Skerry rarely plays freshmen big minutes and thus they are minors contributors. It’s gonna be a lot asking a kid who wasn’t even recruited to start his senior year to jump to a good d1 player in 8 months. Hope he does but I won’t be overly optimistic like some were last year with Solomon “12-8”.

As were many other coaches. Winning is expected elsewhere.

Except for the fact that neither averaged more than 17 minutes a game... Where as other teams' freshmen always play a ton more minutes. He brings them along very slowly and I will again say, that it is not a bad thing. Its actually one of the better coaching attributes he has IMO. But it doesn't matter as you'll argue with me and say that sky is green, that's fine.

Not disparaging the kid, but freshmen rarely play big minutes/high contributors under Skerry. That's typically the way hes run it. I would love for him to be the exception to the rule, and play alot. That would mean hes obviously scoring/passing and making a contribution. Hopefully he picks up the defensive side of the equation quickly, because if you don't guard, you aren't getting big minutes.

It's understandable, as this happens every off season. I will say that at-least it seems that this player is of a different mold than most of the players in the past. Will he red-shirt? Probably not, but he will play very minimal in year 1 at-least until late in conference season.

    WBB falls to UConn, 110-61

Don’t follow the women really, was this her first year at Towson? I know she went to a juco it looks like. So she will have 2 more year right? Looks like they, just like the men’s team, could use a couple of shooters to help balance out and spread the court

    WBB falls to UConn, 110-61

That’s crazy. What are the odds that the same school has two players shot in drive bys, and within 3 years?! feel like this was worse then the men playing duke first round. They were literally fed to the wolves. Not much you can do when the other ten has 10 of the top 50 players in the country

Um yeah. I understand that and we should be down for it. I’d much rather a good opponent with an recent crowd than a goucher Gallaudet Morgan Loyola home snoozer. I get pat like to pad his record but damn charleston has ok state vcu uncg at home next year. Philly schools. Monmouth gw Rutgers rmu penn state st bonaventure bucknell Lehigh Mount navy gw mason vcu Richmond liberty seton hall Albany sb. Plenty of decent to good teams within a 3-4 hour bus ride

There’s something wrong with our scheduling philosophy and execution. We aren’t good enough for teams to be scared. Other teams in the caa get very good home games... We have a centralized location with many conferences where we should be able to schedule better. A-10, maac, patriot, nec.

CAA 0 wins in the ncaa tourney or nit since 2012. It’s a low major at this point. New commissioner is awful. Many of the Top players in the league transferring and or graduating..2 coaches gone. What will the excuses be next year? Or will skerry and the team actually step up?

Is he new to the game too? If so a raw big man is worth the shot. Also helps if say Solomon blows up next year, to keep him around

Why would you be mad if the teams are trying to get better? Changes are needed and coaches leaving is a start. (Just wish we could be among them) get a tv deal work on having the good players not transferring (not talking about wm and Elon situation) have your teams play better ooc gsmes. We for pkenplay nobodies. Schedule better

I agree. If we were 14 seed and beat a 3 it wouldn’t be big news. UConn is UConn. Game being prime time too helps.

This could end up being a HUGE mistake for WM. Where’s my drum and symbol?? all joking aside.. never been a fan of their fan base for obvious reasons, so I for one am not sad at all.

Audgie is leaving too. It’ll be bad when wm sweeps us next year

    2 down...

Crazy. 13 years and they fired him?! He just needed more time. They, like us, should just be happy with the little mediocre programs we have.
