that is pretty nice! they have a very veteran offense
-
They have their typical very good defense. Good run game. But their special teams has been bad. Two kickers combined have missed multiple fgs and xps.
-
If we pay for it... we are not respected or ranked well enough for a seed
-
more disrespect..http://www.college-sports-journal.com/fcs-playoffs-til-i-die-fcsplayoff-field-wild-guess-number-three-10-2-2018/amp/

"it doesn't matter, it will all be ok." Just waiting for a 6-5 team to get in over us if we go 7-4, because they started the season in the top 10. Sh*t even URI is ahead of us and their results/schedule are comparable at best. Just wish we got alittle more respect nationally.

Agree good write up. and no way Elon finishes 10th (also go Phoenix and beat the crap out of UNH Saturday) Based off what is returning: 1. NE..best player best coach 2. C of C..second and fourth best players and a ton of bigs 3. WM..5th best player and can score with anyone in the country 4. Hostra..2nd best player, JM is keeping them from going higher 5. UNCW..Cacok is a beast and they came on late last year, dark horse CAA team 6. JMU..lots of good young players, can Rowe coach? 7. Elon..solid senior players in their last hoorah, new arena 8. Towson..no team lost more than us. build for the future, lots of exciting new and young parts 9. Delaware..higher if daly stayed, still some decent young talent returning. 10. Drexel..poor little kurk lee

haven't had a crowd over 7,000 since opener in 2016. Unless the students show up, 5K or more, I dont see us getting close to it. The ticketmaster seating chart shows most sections have 80% or more seats available. I hope I am wrong, being the home opener and nice weather!

Second that. A great representative of the University.
-
Agree. We have been good against the run, but my concern is they pound away and our DB's get complacent and are looking in the backfield and someone gets by them
-
Checkinng in our opponents: Nova wins again. They have allowed 33 points total in games not played against us morgan state beats a top 5 nc a and t team (who beat Jax state and ecu kn the road) in nc. Wake loses at home to top 10 Notre Dame by 4 scores citadel wins at Mercer. Our run d has been solid this year and they run the triples option, but they scare me with a couple of throws with an undisciplined defense of we are flat footed
-
Sorry all but rankings matter. If we start the season ranked and go 7-4 we make the playoffs. If we start outside the top 25 and go 7-4 we are sitting at home.
-
Dropped 62 spots after a road win over a top 15 team.. there are 125 teams OK
-
LOL. We don't have name recognition like other programs do. I mean last week UNH was ranked about 28th at 0-2 with losses to Maine and Colgate. (they will still make the playoffs) And yes they didnt want to move us up. Fun fact, the last time nova gave up 40+ to an fcs team? Towson in 2012
-
Agree. Their offense is good. But jmu has deemed cast of rbs. Think Alabama. The last few games should be tough tests
-
Didn’t See this one but let’s be honest odu was when the caa was good. Road wins are tough to have especially down 14-0. Kudos to the team and staff, nova is solid. Follow this up with some good play and we got something.
-
some pressure on the QB and blitzes would be nice, but over the past 10 years we have rarely gotten to the QB. Makes the fact that running backs and TE's are always open down the middle, when we drop 7-8 even more frustrating
-
Same. I think we get a little less by not playing the Alabama's, VA Techs, PSU's of the world, but that is fine with me. Would like to see more middling local FBS teams, UVA, Rutgers, Temple, etc. But that is difficult because these are scheduled so far in advance.
-
This is a big game if this team wants to finish above 500 on the season, especially with the last 3 games on our schedule. Bednarcyzk always kills us as did Robertson before him.. Unfortunately his accuracy in the short passes and our serious inability to get any pressure on QB's is not a good recipe.
-
Agree. Was at both games and UCONN was BAD. They also were terribly coached as well. ECU was slightly better and had a much more intimidating atmosphere. Clawson is a good coach and Wake has been solid the past couple of seasons
-
Only saw second half but Flacco looked good. Took a couple of big hits though
-
Unh countdown: 4 losses left (still will probably get in at 6-5)
-
Great post mat!

http://thebahamasshowcase.com/#!/bracket Would make for a nice trip. Should be an interesting wide open tournament since the Ramblers backed out.
-
LOL. Tim Leonard and crew at their best! In all seriousness, its nice that they are putting the game on TV. Will be out of town but DVR this one. I did also see that they are running buses from campus to Morgan and back for students and tickets I think on twitter or some home page? that is a good gesture.
