It was something new. So at least there’s that. Why at the end of the game was Charles and Williamson getting the shots? And not the two better offensive players. Why did we just totally go into stall? Why did a player who isn’t d1 play that many minutes? Where was Sauliman? Where was tarke? Even for a few minutes. Why did we call a timeout that plowed them to set up the last second play? FTs were bad but they usually are. This loss falls on a person around the program for 13 years and 4.5 years.

Unfortunately it’s getting there for me too. It’s a joke that no one is held accountable. Basketball football and lacrosse are awful and we just make excuses. Unacceptable loss, once again. There are people here cheering for games against goucher. Albright. Central penn bible college. Rio grande state tech. He has an under 500 record, hardly makes adjustments. And constantly chokes. And apparently got another extension. 13 years. Probably close 175 players. But yet not think still remains constant

Bryant is 4-6 But 3 of those losses are to Rutgers. Xavier and Cinci. They do have a top 10 win at fau. Interesting line considering how we struggle away from home and at big empty arenas.. they have some old dudes too

Another year. Another MVFC or Big Sky beat down of a caa team in playoffs. Those two leagues caught and passed the caa in about 8 years.

Really? You can’t believe it? People have to travel far to get to Missoula for games (I’m talking in the rest of the state, Washington and Idaho. That’s lodging, food drinks etc. If we went on a home playoff run, I’d venture to say 99% of people coming to support Towson would live within a 2.5 hour drive. Apples and oranges

I would say 9 of 10 had no idea haha We don’t have a place to go. Playing that fall sport doesn’t help either. I don’t want us in a league with Hampton, Bryant, NC A&T etc. But since we have no identity as a school and program, we are stuck with the other misfits. Too many different needs, basketball, football, lacrosse, hockey, baseball in this league. Couple that with state schools, private schools, religious schools, ones in major cities, small rural towns and suburbs, it’s one big hodge podge. The one thing all schools can agree on is their fans all hate the commissioner and flo (which the ADs voted to renew).

CAA is 21 in NET (out of 32) behind the socon, big west, big south and America east conferences…with just two teams in the top 125. The bottom three teams (all new comers) are a combined 3-20..

Who would the hell would want to live over there?! (Besides the people on here who think Towson is the “best fcs town” 😆) Makes little sense IMO I would say student attendance probably makes up 15-20% of the crowds. That’s poor. It’s worse now for basketball then when we were in the TC watching pats cats. Atleast they had 40 or so students who stood and cheered. They were next to the band and right near the oppositions bench. We have gotten so far away from that now, it’s not even funny TV is a good and bad thing. Gets the school out to non fans, but can also reduce attendance

…. Probably the opposite. Those teams sold out a majority of their games anyway. They are basketball schools

Looking at conference schedule, since it’s about that time, we really got royally screwed again. Charleston, uncw, Delaware twice and a road game at Hofstra. That’s 7 games and 4 road against the top 4. Throw in H and H against an improved Monmouth team. Also have 1 Saturday home game with students which is the penultimate weekend of the season. Not to mention the lack of back to back home games in the same week

Good article. I’ve always donated to the TAF, but would consider this too. My guess is this is given to way less than the TAF or others. It would be nice if they put together a chart/graphic that shows what exactly goes where etc. School has a donation and sports issue. We have to be on the lower end (even with the new programs) in terms of giving. We are there in attendance. We can’t even draw 2,000 for a game against umass. Probably 250 or so students, out of 22k. How many people actually give and at what amounts? It would be interesting to see those numbers. Their marketing and whoever runs their contributions is awful. They don’t call or reach out often or at all (donate twice a year). Hoops Season ticket holder for a decade had football tickets until 2017. No one’s called or emailed asking to purchase or donate more. University as well not just athletics. I’ll put $500 into the collective for each win in the CAAT we have

Coaches and ADs need to do better. No reason any teams should be scheduling games like thee. They have just over 100 students enrolled..
