A very skerry game. Defense and rebounding and beating an inferior opponent. About what was expected. our wins are against 0-7, 1-5 and 0-6. Good news is the caa also sucks this year Wouldn’t be surprised if hicks and tarke don’t play again this year.

South Dakota state has had some close games but yes got their first win of the year against souther miss. Morgan, Coppin and Robert morris still have a combined 0 wins this year… NCAA really has no control anymore so like I said. Just play him! After last week, it seems he will more likely be denied than approved. Haven’t we missed out on other players before too without NIL. We won’t compete with Charleston, uncw, Delaware etc in hoops with money. I’d rather a better fit player than someone money hungry. We are stuck with lame duck pat for the next 4 years or so, so let’s get players that fit his system. (Athletic wings, who can’t shoot, or handle the ball, but will defend and crash the glass). Alright so in the absurd and mind numbing Towson futility stat of the day… as team in 6 games have scored 342 total points. Hofstras stud GUARD (something we haven’t had), has scored 150 points by himself. That’s 44% of our total. He would also rank first in assists on the tiger team. mind numbing

So what are we judging/opining off of? Location of stadium? Campus? town? I was under the assumption it was the overall town/experience. If so I stand by my statement. Our stadium is in the middle of parking lots also and a hospital campus…

Hofstra scored 59 in a half tonight. We can’t get to that in a game

We scored 68 against the bad teams. Offense won’t win games. Rebounding and defense will. But when neither show like yesterday. It shows

Just looked we are 354 in ppg (57). 320th in fg% (39.2%) 273rdin 3% (29.4%), 358th in assists (7.7) there are 361 teams Yes we played some good defenses but that is bad.

We woulda been happy with 1-2. But wake was winnable and we were up 2 with 5 left and only scored 2 more the rest of the way. Wakes defense sucks Elon put up 55 in a half at their place. We put up 61 total on a neutral court. What worries me is league play. Our offense is usually better (relative to themselves) ooc. Games are more free flowing and teams and refs aren’t as familiar with us. Obviously that can change but most of these coaches know us and pat and what we can and can’t do. Excellent post. The game yesterday was an embarrassment and for some to say it’s because of one player we lost so badly is ridiculous. Hicks isn’t a game changer. Sorry. And the Tarke business is just another lame excuse some sympathizers use. Every team we played this weekend had players awaiting an appeal. teams we have beaten this year, 0-9 record teams we have lose to this year, 14-5 record same old same old.

Agree on Leonard. Disagree on skerry not being to blame. He brought these guys In. The tarke thing is annoying that people aren’t gettin is if Conway isn’t in trouble, there is no tarke. He didn’t bring in a point guard this year, knowing how bad hicks is and that he’s injury prone. Some say him out played a role in todays loss. yeah if he plays we only lose by 24.. for a team that relies on fouls and rebounding we need depth. Beiku, Coleman and parr aren’t and didn’t get it done. I get it someone has to be 9-12 on the bench but these guys aren’t scholarship level players. caa does stink but so do we. The top teams aren’t as good as last year but some of the bottom teams have improved slightly

They aren’t. Monmouths stadium is around 4,000. They have 15000 fewer undergrads

😂. Rosters will change. Those two have been top of the league for a bit. Both blew us out this year. Both will likely be good next year. We will more than likely be better next year. They are two tough teams. Winning both isn’t out of the question but a split is way more likely. We haven’t won in Newark in a decade. Thus leaving a 1 game cushion.

Fcs town. Yeah I’ll stick with my statement. Add in campus and it’s not even close. is the question, is there a semi large city close to town? That seems to be what you’re hinting at. Something Towson is good at, or should be, a debate team. We got some on here that will till you the sky is green and grass is blue, & believe it.

Lmfao what?! Better COLLEGE TOWN not better place to live. All of those are much better than Towson. There’s zero community or support here for the university. That shows with the attendance numbers. Towsons campus is dead on weekends as it’s a commuter school and most go home to mommy and daddy after classes on Thursday. when fed hill get a county zip code? Towson is a large suburb with a university, not really a college town.
