Saw them in the tourney last year. They are legit top 25 and return everyone. A lot more difficult to be hunted than the hunter. Much tougher conference for them this year. Lol don’t give people ideas. We have some happy with morale victories and losing by 10 to wake.

??? 5-6 is honestly what I expected. Now I thought those wins and losses would come against different teams then they did. With how bad our offense and defense was at time and the ridiculous amounts of penalties, and below average qb play, 5 wins is pretty remarkable. Seems like we started poorly alot and it took a while to get it going in games. not an awful season at the end, attendance and game day need to vastly improve. Can we go 8-2 next year to make the playoffs? Cinci and Ndsu are both losses. And we have to play the toughest pod in the league

If this tournament taught “our fans” (using this loosely) anything its guard play wins. Wake had injuries and still came though when it mattered. Pat looks like a deer in the headlights against d1 schools. 13 other schools in this league the seat would be scorching. Here? We just make excuses 🥱

They did compared to their first three games but we were the best defensive teams they’ve played. We may not play great or smart but we usually play well on defense and are physical. I hope 11 and 15 are special players for us This team was assembled this way. Watson getting hurt was a wrench but tarkes eligibility could have been an issue that they had to know of. Waiting for him is better than no one or someone worse, with the Conway situation. Granted 0 could have helped us a lot this year.

We have who we have. All three that are out have been for a while. Sauliman being injured and maybe lowery hurts the depth.

Houston is legit. 3 straight sweet 16s, 1 seed last year and defends. Bad matchup for us. Our guards were awful. Shooting was poor and our best offense (getting our misses) was non existent. Still made it competitive. Last 30 minutes for the game out scored then by 1. Wish we pulled some of those threes early on, instead of taking shot clock violations and ran some offense early on. Looked like deer in headlights. Didn’t embarrass ourselves. Closest game cougars have played all year. We have some nice pieces and role players. Even with tarke and Watson playing healthy not sure it’s enough. But Charleston did it last year with 9-12 decent guys. oh, us playing down a scholarship (2 really if count another tall player) hurts.

UD Arena is a great atmosphere. Even on a holiday weekend it was packed. In other news Charleston just choked away a 10 point lead against Vermont with less than 5 minutes to play. Vermont ended the game on a 24-6 run. The CAA is beyond awful this year. We may finally win an ncaa tourney game again, albeit in the PIG 😂🥲
