Another winless night for the CAA. Most of the games weren’t even close. Now 12-20 so far on the season. This league is officially a low major. There are more teams than wins 9 days into the season

Not hating on them giving money. Pointing out the sadness and irony that they went out of business before the promotion. Kind of like a bobble head of a player who is dealt at the deadline. Went twice and their pizza was very very good. Work right around the corner and woulda liked for that to be my pregame spot. Beer wall was very expensive. They tell you why they closed? Tried to go a week or so ago and it has a closed sign and they were wheeling out the games and other fixtures

Good news this is on real tv. Bad news it’s against Houston on real tv. Will have the 7pm game on Friday which is nice too. Let’s try to not embarrass ourselves Thursday and try and win 1 down there

Our next opponent held their opponent to 16 first half points and turned them over …17 times. Woof

I mean you technically could, just hope that you had good managers and or assistant who could spot the refs coming out and yell “off the rims”

Towson athletics and gameday is a closure f*** on a good day. This really isn’t warranted. They got it replaced quickly (didn’t measure/level timely hence the delay) but all in all not worth criticism. Maybe bring back the old rules. No dunking during warmups ??

They had nachos. Popcorn and pretzels. Like usual but when the only other two options are a gross dog and a pizza it’s limited to say the least. Towson can do better overall!

Ok so some takeaways from the game experience yesterday. Good: new court is nice and clean. New graphics and video features are an upgrade. New PA announcer was good and not over the top (just need better radio/tv now!!) new hoop got out their quickly but no one seemed to measure/level it until AFTER the team came back up and got shots up Bad: concessions. Only 2 of the 3 stands open. Of that 3 total registers. That’s not enough especially during media time outs and half time, even for our small crowds. The selection for actual food was a gross looking hotdog or Ledo pizza (lol). Not looking for a 5 star meal but there needs to be better options. Prices were random and was charged different than the menu listed (just a bad look). Oh and the pizzas didn’t get delivered to the stall until ~6:40. Band was kind of lame and say a lot. Hate their countdown chants. Ugly: SAFE. I’m not a safe hater like some here but the crew there last night was awful. Took 10-15 minutes to get 4-5 people through security at 6:10. Nope that can’t happen. The folks with the wand were absolutely nasty (like worse than me after a loss, nasty!). We cannot have a line 75 deep outside for a game with that few people in attendance. They were also yelling at people standing on the concourse that we were blocking concessions and peoples view. Extremely rude to talk to paying customers like that. If you want everyone to sit (and I’m good with that) to make it seem more full. Great. But there’s a way to go about it. These things may seem little and unimportant but it makes us seem bush league at times

This. We are going to lose a few because the offense and play calling is below average (being nice). Maybe the style of 10-11 players averaging 12-18 mpg like Charleston works. Play the hot hands that night.

Zero sarcasm. Wish we could play more solid mid majors. Helps in the long run. This team, currently, is very average and the margin for error is small. Some of the younger guys have been more impressive than the upperclassman.

An ugly grind it out team win. This is how we need to play in order to win. Choppy in pieces, defense wasn’t great especially after the 8 minute media in the first half. Probably the last time we will be above 500 this year Not sure why pat was calling a timeout late in the game to set up a play. Worst play calling coach in the country and we ran shit that led to a shot clock violation. This team has no star. No real first option but it’s a team and everyone needs to contribute, and has the last two games. Tejada has been our best offensive player. Have to be impressed with his game and confidence so far. Need to play teams like Robert morris more often. These are games that help, not the locals, naia, etc.

They don’t know about the miller light prices at the stands.. and they need a new crew to wand people coming in. Two very slow people and took around 10 minutes for 4 people to go through

They held out their two big guns for that game. Apparently were nicked up. Would guess they are playing tonight. They did lose at Xavier in their season opener. They have not shot well from deep first two game, hope that continues

Trying to be positive! That’s all it’s about!!! in all seriousness even when rob was ridding mr wests coat tail, we struggled against Delaware. Assuming they move up soon. Nova is nova. But we have competed against our peer institutions this year and got smoked by programs less than us. in all seriousness, I think we have a winning season again before we draw over 4500. I do say a lot to get a rise out of some on here. (Not you) Some it’s easier than others, especially in football, which is a lost cause at this point. But this was such a weird year. Next year the record will likely be the same or worse.

He isn’t gonna be let go before contract is up. Even so, it’s Towson baby. Zero pressure or fire. We were awful this year and still 4-7 or 5-6. A qb and Better discipline. This is a borderline playoff team where 35% of teams make the playoffs!!

His pass lasts until the contract is up. Whether that’s 4 years or 14. We aren’t that many players away from competing. It’s the caa and fcs, lol.
