I've learned on here that they OOC and the regular season conferenced games count, IF we win. If not, they are not important and it is just for March. It is fluid with these fans on here. Whatever fits. Playoffs/Postseason is what counts and remembered. Though considering the graduations from last season, and loss of Watson, (add in the bad offense and sporadic play), this past season could be considered a success and was pretty fun. Now knowing that we blew a large late lead to finally make it to a final, makes you think, but hindsight is 20/20. With that said, 2022-2023 season was a complete failure as we did not win the league, tournament or even make a final with a returning team.

Agree. I’m not advocating for fully playing the way Alabama and Charleston play but watching that game and last nights Bama Unc game, the offense is quick and free flowing. Such a breathe of fresh air from what we do. Of course it’s about the Jimmys and joes too, but should be able to play without running 22 seconds of clock before getting into our offense for an iffy look at best

Can the publish that information? Would assume so. But I want to support those businesses who support our student athletes. I know of hunt valley bagels, pure raw juice. I think THB?

I don't think anyone on here said it was a sure thing, easier or that it will always work out. It won't but that doesn't mean you can be afraid to make a change and go out of your comfort zone (SOT mentality). We know what we have and it's fine, average, some good seasons. If you aren't willing to risk it all, the reward is much smaller. UNCW is successful, but has many bad hires in between the good (Benny and Buzz after Brownell, and C.B. after Keatts). But they are willing to cut their mistakes and move on, quickly. There is no reason a coach at Towson University should stay for 10+ years. But yet, until last year we had three with Ambrose, Skerry and Nadaline. They should either win and move or on lose and be fired. Middling "success" leading to no other opportunities equates to stagnate status quo. The fact that they were not on short term contracts, is mind boggling. Hopefully athletics knows, you can place buy outs in contracts..

Well they ate at least 2 years of contract, as he was given a three year extension last March! This is (and we are), Marshall! Not UNC! He led them to their first trip to the dance since the mid 80s! They are worried about two subpar years? SHEESH. He is a HOF member as well, and they just showed him to the curb.

Marshall fired D’antoni coming off a 24 win season last year and a very good career record! He’s also an alum! They want to win!

I wasn’t trying to say I or anyone else is a bigger fan. If it came off that way, I apologize. Im fortunate enough to live close, in Baltimore (if you consider that fortunate 😂), and work in Towson, so it makes it easy for me to attend games and other events. I was calling out that poster who said to support the team. I do and always will even though I no longer support the coach. Seeing around 20 games in person a year and watch pretty much everyone on flo or whatever is different than some of the others who listen to spiro (lol) and comment after. Appreciate your post and there are lots of good points. We have hit our ceiling under skerry. It is and was time to move on. He did an overall good job but can’t do anymore. Always thought he would be a better Athletics administrator than coach. As tired as you and others on here may be of me repeating the same things, it goes both way and I tire of the lame excuses for pat. 361 other teams would have moved on by now, but not us.

I’d say welcome to the dark side, but have a feeling you will be back to your hopefully self in a few weeks and putting non refundable deposits down on tourney sites for 2025 😂
