Lol. Last second three to cover. Depth and coaching. That’s why uncw and Charleston will be there late in march and Hofstra and the tigers won’t.

Amending that statement. Doesn’t look either are in sc

It’s really just one. But one is definitely out, the other likely would be held out too.

A team that shoots a lot of threes and shoots them well against a team that struggles to defend them… hopefully we can keep it close like Ohio state last year

About 2/3 of the way done with our ooc schedule. Below are our opponents records Albany 2-7. umass 7-1. Penn 5-6. Uncg 3-5. Coppin 4-6. Fairfield 3-6. Mercer 3-5. USA 2-6. LIU 0-7. Combined 29-49. Upcoming we have 7-2 Clemson. 5-3 navy. 2-4 UNI and 4-3 Bryant. Combined 20-12

Interesting rankings. Can’t say I don’t agree with most on our end. The quality of life is pretty subjective But there is work to be done, hopefully all of their football alums we hear about donate and with a new AD and soon to be new president the leadership can get on the same page. We need to figure out what kind of school we want to be in regards to athletics

No lol

ACCnx. Anyone know how to get that??

About where I thought we would be.

4-3 yesterday! 37-62 overall league record. Hampton gets their first win of the season. Now 3 caa winless teams remain

MBB overcomes slow start to upend LIU 74-64

The last paragraph is why we struggle to get over that hump. We don’t have that guard nor have we ever under skerry. Relying on defense to win games is fine when you’re playing bad teams like we have. But when Charleston goes 10 deep on you and can shoot, and Estrada and Thomas are coming at you. Or Davis Nelson owens, they will put the ball in the bucket. I’m sure those weren’t rocking I don’t think anyone is discrediting cam. He’s the mvp of the caa and we would be awful without him. What he does a skinny 6’5 wing, basically playing point guard who isn’t a great shooter is remarkable. Playing hurt should also be commended. But as 88 said, we don’t have that go to guy at the end of the game. also sans umass we have played some bad teams. 8-10 games you can atleast see that. Probably one of the weaker 2-3 schedules In the league so far (sans the non d1s) -

Big year?! Based off what -
I’m critical of our team but the tigers are 4-0 in true road games . All over caa teams are a combined 3-39.

What makes you think the Uni game? They are 1-4 albeit with a tough schedule, and are likely the worst of the remaining 4 ooc teams. I am doubtful (shocker) that we are our often injured point guards anytime soon. Conway does look to have some clutch in him. Hit a few late big threes the last couple of games. 10-8? Lol -

This just gives me 17-18 vibes we’re we started 8-1 against terrible teams and finished 8-13. -

Thats fine but he can play in 3-4 games this year it’s worth not redshirting. Players can transfer whenever so I don’t see the point I’ll believe a healthy Gibson/hicks when I see a Bigfoot. The Best ability is availability. Not sure with a healthy 10 that makes a difference he is zero threat on offense. Playing 4-5 or 3-5 for 30+ minutes a game isn’t easy 9 games in and this isn’t a top team. We can win games in league play because well the caa is awful. Can we grind out 3 wins in a row late in the year? No. Not enough offense, depth or skill. -

What’s the point of redshirting. With it being easy to transfer, he is either good enough in a few years to move on or bad and moves on. -

Played awful against a bad 0-5 now 0-6 team. Thankfully the foreign kid didn’t play in the second half. He torched us all first half. Better effort in the second half. No go to guy late. thankfully Charles dominated on the boards. Conway did hit two clutch threes. A lot like younger Gibson he catches so far out. A step or two in at the line, much better. Cam doing a lot. May missed and turned down a lot of good looks. Hopefully those fall for him soon. 8-1 lucky to be that. It could obviously be worse but this team is FAR from being good -
That’s a LARGE number on the road, especially for a team that struggles to score. Looks like they have two good three point shooters, better not leave them wide open like we did against the 🦌

Thank you. that makes sense. I’ll watch volleyball in the Olympics (and beach). It’s one of the more fun sports to watch and there’s much action. Just wish they weren’t in flo so I could watch more. is video review new? Or only for the tournament? We were pretty unsuccessful in our challenges it seemed

The last line is Towson athletics in a nutshell. Hey! We have a program and a good one! what went wrong tonight? Had it on but don’t know much about volleyball. Announcers seemed very pro dogs

GOH- Go On Home Rob! After this latest debacle (unh hasn’t scored this much since 2017, gainers…? Towson), the rob Ambrose era, save for another pandemic or the last couple teams forfeiting, is FINALLY over. This bum has obviously given up and it’s well beyond time to make a change. While he made a trip to the championship game with an world running back, that fell into his lap, he did absolutely nothing to build on that short lived success. Questionable transfers, lack and unwillingness to adjust, and keeping baby brother around a few seasons too long plagued the program the past half decade plus. While the CAA dipped as a conference so has Towson football from the “glory days” with number 28. The question now is, where does the new AD go from here and who does he hire?! Put forth your best candidates here. A successful D2 coach, fcs coordinator, an alum, even the SAFE person out in the parking lot to bust your tailgate party. There are no wrong answers (besides the few who want to keep Rob) and hiring Jared.
