Yes. They are a deep and balanced. 9 guys average 6 points or more and 14 plus minutes a game. thankfully them not playing on the road much and a sleepy small secu crowd will put them to sleep

I’m not saying these games and results don’t matter in ooc. A lot of wins is nice but a lot of wins as a caa team doesn’t give you anything at the end of the year unless you handle business is march. 19-15 works for me if it means we go to the tournament. Charleston is an interesting case but 8-9 games against wm Elon Hampton A &T and stony Brook are gonna crush whatever rating they had. Win or lose. NET takes into account how much you win by and where the games are played. Charleston leaves the Carolina’s one time from their first game through January 19th, with that one coincidentally enough, against us

I don’t think anyone has forgotten where we have come from. Because we will definitely drop off after this season. preseason #1. Favorable ooc schedule. 3 first team players. 6 returning players. 7 seniors or older on the roster. Coming off 25 wins and a regular season title. There are high expectations and rightfully so. Last year was a surprise. This year is different. 7-1 is nice but there is a ton to improve upon. We haven’t played a great offensive game so far. And haven’t been healthy. The defense has been good to very good in almost every game sans for the loss. You can look at it one or two ways. The optimists are happy, the pessimists are not. This team just seems slightly off from where they were last year. Yes it’s early, and things can and likely will change (hopefully for the better). hopefully you post more. Good to hear other fans with different views and thoughts

The first NET rankings usually comes out mid December. Good RPI and NET rankings are nice but doesn’t really mean anything for us or the caa. No one is getting an at large. The only thing that matters is being the best team in the CAAT. Playing and winning road and neutral sites helps your ranking and we have done well in those settings the last two years. The league is super top heavy. Delaware will rise too. They had a worse stinker Early on than we did. The bottom is BAD. you can’t have half the conference in the bottom 60 teams.

Lol. 3 on the road. Sparkly record but have not played well at all. Which could be a good thing or bad. we need consistency. He’s not a freshman. He’s one of the oldest most experienced players in the country. We don’t need 25–5-5 a night from him. But he sulks and has been brutal on defense.

Cam was good this weekend. Nick was awful. Charles mix bag. Conway looked good. I’ll take some bad d with a player who can shoot and some quickness. Thankfully they had the slowest player in basketball today and we were smart enough to take advantage. This was an ugly weekend. If we don’t allow Fairfield WIDE OPEN looks all day Friday we probably go 3-0 against some mediocre to bad teams. They battled but this is not Last years team and after 8 games we were overrated (at least to this point). Schedule so far has been easy. Clemson navy and Bryant will be ugly unless we get better.

For a new coach that lost a good bit of talent, they seem to be competing well so far.

I mean hindsight is 20/20. We have two often injured point guard so we are relying on a point forward now. Gill why he was able to dribble the ball, isn’t worth a scholarship. He left to go to a school where he is no longer on the the roster. So no we don’t wish he had transferred out. How about let’s actually get a point guard for once in 15 years?!

No alpha and no point guard year 8? Lots of nice role players but no go to guy hurts again. 5 guys who combined for 15 a game drop 47 on us. Embarrassing effort today. Thank god Fairfield kept us in this one. They had open shot after open shot pretty much all game. Also shot poorly from the line in the first. That along with some late turnovers, this one could have been a 15-20 point beat down.

This is true. But the bottom this year has been particularly bad. 2 of the 4 new teams lost a lot from real good teams last year. The other 2 are just not good

2-2 day. 19-38 overall. Still only 5 teams with a win. Charleston Hofstra. Drexel. Wm and us. caa top 3 (maybe 5. Uncw and Delaware tough to gage because they’ve played ridiculous schedules) are very good. But the caa has a whole is not good. The bottom of the caa is as worse as it ever has been and that includes when our sorry asses were down there

Short answer no. Long answer also no. It did fill in last night after tip. 15 minutes before there were maybe 200 people there including band, players and staff. 1,000-1,250 is the max for non students. We could push 500-750 students with 1750-2250 being the real Potential
