Looking at the caa schedule we have the toughest schedule of all the “big 5” teams. To compound that we have Hofstra and Charleston as day games with students on break. One in New Year’s Eve… the other at noon on MLK Day

We can be really good. It was there in the past and we have shown very brief signs of it. The schedule is solid and should allow us to work on things. Road games are tough but we are playing likewise opponents. Last year we seemed to blow a lot out and coast a bit. This year every game has been a struggle and close. Which hopefully helps in the long run because the other top 4-5 teams in the caa are also pretty damn good. The defense has played well and will need to continue.

4 games in and it’s clear, this isn’t last year. We won’t blow many teams out. It’s gonna be a slow grind. Thankfully uncg took the foot off the pedal in the second half. I’ll happily call out 25 as a d2 player in the chat if it means he goes off and scores 25. we haven’t played good this year so far and have 4 wins. The defense was pretty good but the offense and rebounding were atrocious

It’s time to move on from Rob. But the fact that this team has a chance to finish above 500 (even with this schedule) is pretty amazing. Good for them. Hopefully sometime soon we can return to playing meaningful football late in the season.

Lol. Now as bad as that record is, there are some buy games on there (uncx2). Ou. Iowa. Seton hall. Illinois etc. so it’s more like. 500 record against similar level teams

Another putrid night for the league. NE and Hampton both blew late leads. WM lost to an American team without their best player. caa ooc record is now 9-21. Only 4 of the 13 teams have even won a a game. Not good 10 days into the season

Uncg on paper looks like a team with size. They seem to always rebound and defend well. Looking at another rock fight in the low 60s

They don’t travel to their home games so unless they have a huge alumni base in Baltimore, I would guess no

Never said we weren’t good. We haven’t played well or up to expectations yet. Umass Starters went 5-32. You should win by at least 12 in that case. Hofstra beat a petty good Princeton and Iona teams too. Yes I do worry about a team that can put up 85 a night. Their bench will once again be thr Achilles heel
