Albany in a dog fight at immaculata college (d3 former all girls school until a few years ago) tonight. 26-19 at half. (They scored 28 in the first half against us last night). Oh and Albany had the AEast ROTY from last year return tonight. Sigh

Just wanted to say that the change to C & R pub behind the visitors hoop was nice. They had a good selection of beers. New PA announcer was good as well. Better ads and videos on the scoreboard. Would like to see the baseline upper decks tarpped off with ads. Student section is still dumb on the side it is. No other schools has it setup like that. Safe people still out of control with the students.

Yeah. The score had something to do with it but we were sold on the depth which may come later on in the year but who knows. Albany went very deep, partly because they play at 5pm today and Immaculate college…

7 man rotation is going to cut it especially if 1 of them is offensively challenged. You can’t crash the glass with such a short rotation, and hedge the way pat likes to as it leads to foul trouble Therein lies the problem. While A good player and not a traditional 4 man, he isn’t a guard that can do what the others do. Yes he does different things than those lead guards can. But he isn’t going to blow by other teams best defenders and get to thr hoops 5 straight times a la Phillips. Or just go flat out Steph curry like Estrada

Probably a bit over the top. But even in the first half when we were up 10-15 we didn’t look good. the entire game we looked like the less athletic, less quicker and younger team. That can’t happen. Especially at home with that crowd. Now I will say, 99% of those in secu had no clue about the team or expectations so they probably thought that was a good game and big win 😂😂 the top of the caa is going to be tough. But Hofstra and uncw both have a go to guy at the end of the game that can take over and score 10 in a row to close it out.

When did I say that you said they were good? Just looked at umass. That can get UGLY on Thursday. Isaac the Towson killer kante coming off their bench? He will torch us for 20 and 14. st joes should have been the wake up call. If not this shoulda been. But I doubt it. 7 player rotation. With 6 of them able to score at the d1 level? Ugh

He got beat badly by a freshman in his first career game. Nick Charles and Holden were AWFUL tonight. It’s ok to say it. They can’t play that bad again and expect to win. Team looks like they were to busy reading all the press clipping instead of doing other basketball related things

That was the best crowd we will get all year by over 1250 people. Give me a good team playing in front of 50 over as bad one in front of 3000. this isn’t a strong basketball or sports area. Nothing wrong with being “Baltimore’s college team” and going 5-6 in football and 17-15 in hoops!

Ugly game. Awful effort, or we just suck? A game like this should not happen. We had another stinker against saint joes last week. Maybe this team is better as the hunter? some are ECSTATIC over tonight’s win. But the caa doesn’t run through York road

Riller never sat on bench. One of the best caa players last 15 years.

Bought it last year once conference play started. 2 months is still alot of a shitty product but able to see the road games made it with it

NCAA our bust!

Will students show up? Will they actually organize where they it? Will they stay for the entire game? They are throwing lots of promos at the kids so Hopefully word is out and something sticks. The team playing well and entertaining wouldn’t hurt

They did. Very unexpected considering everything going on. But it seems like we always do this late in the season. Finishing strong is great but September-October matter too. No reason that a new coach shouldn’t have this team in top 20 of fcs (lol) in 2 years.

Pray not. Hopefully new ad is smarter than the old ones The old Towson special. End of season run after it’s already over

That’s a good link. Too bad not many other caa schools are listed. Uncw was paying their 2 mens coaches 600k in total. Jmu paid cignetti 60k in 2021 than we did for our football coach in 2020. 👀
