This upcoming one is the last in DC, correct? They had a 3 year contract which obviously was disrupted with the Covid year. 13 teams so; 13-4, 12-5, 11-6, 10-7, 9-8 and 1-3 byes?

What can be done to get this team better and fully funded again?? 9-26 and 0-9 in the caa being out scored 27-76 in conference games. I know that it got cut, or almost did and was resurrected to a point but we are getting beat badly. It’s a shame, we had that one run right after to get to the ncaat and even win a game or two, but since it’s been pretty awful.

Rel Smith .. now there’s a name haha. Fobbs was the best rebounding guard we’ve had in a while. Just wish he had more than 2 years.

Hairston was a head case. If we are going that route, let’s add Baltimore’s own…. Troy Franklin! While kidding, sort of, he did average 4 assists a game and was pretty damn good during the run to the caa semis (hey we still haven’t made it past that! Closest we came to the finals). But besides that he was a head case as well

Last years was good. Was hopping for a repeat of it…. Playing 5 games a year against the local teams is boring IMO. They do little to boost interest in the program. Socon does it right. They schedule very well and now have passed the caa in strength of conference. Someone needs to help Joey d and the office down in Richmond schedule better as whole. No non d1s, get some conference challenge going because the caa with now 14000 teams and a 15/16 seed one unit in March each year is not good.

Local teams here all suck. Not worth playing. It’s not that their records are awful, their rpi/net are also bottom tier. The year Umbc beat uva we won fairly easily. The “it takes two to tango” line is just that. When we suck we can’t get anyone. When we are average we can’t get anyone. When we are good we can’t get anyone. Other schools do! What the hell are we doing wrong?! hard to believe that we can’t get a 2 for 1 with a mod to upper tier a10 team. Every year our ooc schedule is a joke. This was a year to schedule tough

Yes we have a lot of returning talent and some marginal power teams might be scared to play us but this is a pitiful ooc schedule for a team with big expectations and so much experience

Never heard of this tournament. Some decent mid majors. Multiple teams from same conferences so would assume We would possible get one sunbelt and or one mvc team.

8 teams in the caa for lacrosse. Will they play 7 conference games? Isn’t 8 a lot of lacrosse? Should be good for both men and women

I mean stony Brook and Monmouth help a lot in hoops. Not sure about football nor does it really matter. Fcs is bleh. Monmouth who was very good this past year had 5-6 5th year seniors who would all be gone. I feel like stony lost a few players but also got the second best player from scared heart (Hofstra beat us out for the best) not discrediting them but Charleston and Uncw have great coaching and some really good pieces returning. Hofstra is talented but speedy is still a ? We return a lot and bring in some highly touted transfers.
