Looks like the big boys came to play last night. First ten minutes most of them look disinterested but almost all of the power teams won. Gonna be a fight tonight

Depends on how motivated wake it. Being a snubbed team it can go two ways… no interest or anger and a blow out

He does deserve the credit for this season. He’s done a good job. Years past he’s done well then had two bad years etc. building off great seasons and Towson Athletics has not worked football after frisco is a laughing stock lacrosse after final four has been bad. Had a few good seasons after Benimon but nothing like this year and no post season success other conference programs have gotten to the tournament. Lost their coach. Got a new one, rebuilt and made it back. Delaware. Uncw. Ne. umbc is top 3rd of their conference every year. One tournament appearance. Winning seasons. That is what you described as your vision of success so we are more retriever than racer

Making the tournament is the goal. It always is and always should be. A nice regular season is nice. Having a net ranking is nice too but that means nothing to most people. It won’t help us get an at large. Yeah it gets us a better seed but need to make it for that to matter. Winning the regular season is awesome and playing in the NIT is also cool. I’m more excited for tomorrow than most on here. This season was successful but we fell short of the ultimate goal. I think anyone on the bench and in uniforms would agree

That’s life as a 1 bid league. It comes down to 3/4 (maybe 5/6 next year) games. Under skerry we have been the worst program when it truly counts. Wake is very solid and if they didn’t lose to Boston college in Brooklyn they likely would be playing in the other tournament. They lost twice all year at home. To Duke and miami. They have lots of transfers too

I’m sure the usuals will respond to this but most other fan bases are a whole lot more negative than we are…I know I am one of Critics on here but we are probably one of the nicest fans and schools in the country. Coaches stay because they get lengthy extensions for mediocre production. There are minimal expectations and close to zero pressure. two weeks ago hens fans were thinking inglebsys seat should be scorching. Drexel the same with spider. Jmu fans don’t think byington is the answer. Uncw fans were questioning if siddle was right earlier this year (ok that’s a bad example because they are major tools)

Look it’s now regionally seeded to save money like the “football playoffs”. Wake is a decent team this year with a very good player and coach coming from a decent mid major. espn+ isn’t espn2 or epsnu but it’s way better than flo sports. Most people who watch sports have espn+. Their content and game production is solid.

Would be nice to pull out a win and play at vcu for old times sake

King rice and Pat skerry are going to be in the same conference next year. If they were to play in the CAAT that game would have to end in a tie were both teams don’t move on.. haha

Awful call but even if that girl catches it cleanly there isn’t enough time to get a shot off. Feel bad for all of them. Rather get our face kicked in like the men on Monday, than lose a close one like that

Nothing wrong with that. Just saw it. That’s not a foul. That’s an awful call but an assistant coach shouldn’t be airing it out like that… We need to earn everything in this conference as we aren’t one of the favorite few

Beat them by 39. Over 80 in 3 games and umbc is the number two team in that league. Conference tournaments hurt smaller leagues way more than they help

More salt in the wound… Monmonth, Kent state, Coppin state, navy, Delaware and Uncw all play or played in their conference finals. 8-2 in the regular season against those teams. With one of the losses coming in ot..

Uri fired a guy with a better win % than Pat. umass and uri are trying to win and relive their glory days.. Pat is not the guy for either of those jobs. If he’s looking for a final big payday those aren’t the places.. he would be gone in 3-4 years. He is under 500 in his career at Towson and 160-141 since the season. More importantly, 3-10 in the conference tournament
