The students are beyond awful. We have 22,000 students and can’t get more than 100 for a game??! it’s honestly embarrassing that we will play in front of more people Thursday and Saturday than we have for all of our 7 caa home games combined. Used to get more of them and more passionate back when I was there in the Towson center when we sucked. Besides one good year with Benimon (and the new arena). The attendance has been disappointing for a while.

Totally understand a lot of the general public and their children especially yesterday. no one wants to wear a mask for 2 hours. But if it means I get to watch them play in person I will. With that said… it’s not well enforced at all. Looking at the “expensive seats” yesterday, I could count 5-10 with masks on out of the 60-70 down there. Again, doesn’t bother me but with pointing out. the last paragraph… Pat isn’t on Twitter anymore. All the other caa coaches are and most are very promotional of their games and other events on campus. Not everyone is going to be Pat Kelsey on social media.. but coen is on Twitter, our Womens coach is, the lacrosse coach I think is as well. Wouldn’t hurt

Lol that guy is a clown. He was one leading the “poor Jmu pity party” after caa correctly ruled that they would be ineligible for conference tournaments. Also thinks if it wasn’t for two injuries Jmu men’s hoops would be top of the conference and in position for an at large lmfao

People just don’t care and marketing isn’t great. Was very disappointed in the crowd yesterday. More students when they were on break (yes they all were athletes who now are probably in season). The sororities that usually do things with pathfinders for autism were no shows as well.

Maybe if Duke came to secu we could break 2,000 in attendance…

From our winged friends board, who will undoubtedly take over as the most obnoxious fan base in 4 months… The refs allowed Towson to foul and foul and foul and foul and foul against Elon yesterday. It was unreal. Duke would have lost yesterday there. If that is allowed, it would be difficult but we are at home with a little better ball security.

Not many teams have or face a big man with actual post moves and can score with his back to the basket. This is helping him greatly. He also isn’t just reliant on cleaning up missed on the glass anymore. He needs A LOT of touches early and often against the smaller Uncw team on Thursday. Tough games left. Charleston and Uncw are good home teams and we always play tight games with Jmu regardless of records. Monday February 28th with like be a big day in terms of seeding for the next weekend

The second half against Wm and first half of this game maybe the best two halves in Towson hoops history. Or in 20+ years. Glad we got everyone into the game. Our starters played less than 22 minutes. This late in the year it’ll hopefully freshen them up for Thursday. Also nice for them to leave the game on a high note and not lose focus just going through the motions. Let’s go cougars!!

The slow starts are more than just a here and there thing. They are routine which is bad if we are playing a slow paced team or a real good team. The energy used to comeback night after night must be tiring, but they do know how to do it. Charles has been dominant in caa play. By far our best performer (mask and jaw broken is obviously an issue for cam still). He was struggling ooc but those were some good big men he faced

Ugly start, again. Awful habit that we have this year especially at gone. Charles is our best player and has been in caa play. Need to take care of the ball better. Effort much better in second half.

lol what? We are a good team but let’s be serious they wouldn’t “steamroll” the conference. When we are on shooting wise, we are tough to beat because of the defense and rebounding. This year we have had more good shooting nights than duds like in the past. Everyone has had injuries. Us complaining about them is laughable when we have benefited a lot this season from other teams players (and coaches) missing games 1.5 but if we were to beat them next week and finish the season tied.. we should have the tiebreaker if hoftsra finishes 3rd

Next Thursdays game at Uncw was flexed into cbs sportsnet. Moved from 7 to 6 pm. Hopefully it’s another good game. Last nights cbs game was excellent.

Cam has now played around half the games with the mask. Nolan has missed something like 10 games? It is what it is at this point. We know what we have and what we don’t. It’s not like these things just happened. Adapt and adjust

Thursday early start time no. Saturday at 2pm for the autism awareness game should be a larger crowd. Think that the poster meant at Uncw next weeks. Great atmosphere and Towson aren’t typically words that go together
