Uncw losses at Hofstra. Man Saturday hurts even more now. 10-2, 9-3 instead of 8-4

Some good points here. We knew going in that northeastern plays a slow style and limits the amount of possessions in a game. That has been coens style for a while. We didn’t really do anything to try and speed the game up. Poor game planning. The other games that played with low possessions, uncg, usf etc we would have low assist numbers obviously but we also shot poorly from deep. Players feeling antsy when they can’t get up and down the court as much? Maybe. I know there are a lot on here full of excuses, and I’m one to call them out…but the horrific 3 point Shooting in games maybe something to do with the backdrops/hoops. Mathews is a a hockey rink that’s 10000 years old with nothing behind the hoops. Pitt is a big arena that was empty. Against usf in Vegas another big arena that was empty. Drexel I believe still has the hoops hanging from the ceilings rather than a stanchion. All of that does have an effect on shooters. we have had a large amount of offensive stinkers over to years but a large majority of those have been against ne and Drexel. it is alittle sad that in 3 road games we have allowed, 58, 65 & 63 and lost all 3

Use whatever excuse, But the team didn’t show up to play today. It’s unfortunate that a good opportunity was blown. too many upperclassmen on this team to lay a big egg like this one. Playing from behind like we continually do bites us in the ass sometimes. Need to do better on starts We can never capitalize after big wins. This isn’t a 2022 team issue this has been a program issue for a long time.

Move up the list obviously, 5 or so teams are moving up. But down in number overall

This. Thankfully it’s on the road. Ne isn’t as bad as the record. Lost a lot of close games and have been hurt by not having a point guard. Focus needs to be there tomorrow. We cannot turn the ball over like we have recently. It will be magnified by the lack of overall possessions in the game

Gutty effort after blowing a 12 point lead. First half shooting was unreal. Didn’t foul much which helped. this is the second best team that we’ve play on the road all year and 3rd best overall

Delaware likely will be full strength. Could be a huge 18 minutes to determine seeds 2-4 along with Hofstra

An Australian punter will be valuable with team. Especially one bigger than the linebackers 😂
