Anyone else see the chippyness especially at the end?!
-
I like that they had mike posting up a lot this game.

Scheduling sucks. Why have preseason 2 finish with 1 and 3 so soon. Our January is a bear. Last year we just stunk early on.
C of c is a 3 man show but those 3 are top 6-8 players in the league. Hoedully one has an off night Sunday. Home games are huge especially when we struggle nightly on the road.
-
Nice win over a bad team. Everyone played above their season avgs minus morman aNd Zane
rebounding and getting to the line are still issues. Solid game from starr, Eddie and the player everyone loves to hate
-
Couldn’t defend and get back to back stops. Don’t rebound well anymore. Can’t get to the line. Bad play calling at the end. More blown leads. Starr’s been borderline awful recently
kmew the game was going to turn when we could have went up 12 with Zane shooting 3 fts and only got one
good news is that we played the best two teams in our conference already. Bad news is we get one again in 5 days and then Hofstra and wm. Protect the home court or we are looking at 1-5 Start again..

Umm what? Do you watch college hoops? The last 4 at large are in PIG sin Dayton and go as 11/12 seed The others are bad conference winners, meac, swaglc, nec etc. if we finish with less than 16 wins and win the tourney, sure but if not the caa rep is getting a 13 or 14

When you don’t need to travel and spend the night before away from home. All caa games except for Delaware are like that. So 0-3 in games like that is a major concern

McNeil and Morman were awful tonight . McNeil has been his entire career, afraid of his own shadow

A game 4 miles down the road isn’t a true road game in my book sorry
-
Off the bandwagon??? Ha good one.
Umm anyone who watches college hoops knows Pitt stinks. They started 4 guys with a combined 48 games of college experience. Mike alone has started 80+ games.
7-28 from 3. 21 turnovers. 57 % from the line and they still win.
Our offense is bad right now and we are not the same physical rebounding team we were in years past
we are 0-3 on the road this year and that is very troubling
-
Wow. What an embarassment. A bunch of seniors out played by freshmen down the stretch. On to conference play. Hopefully c of c and eking dont each beat us by 30
-
Haha light speed must be a turtle fan. And we aren’t running the table. Sorry it’s to difficult with our team and the schedule. Even so non d1 games do not count towards post season eligibility.
If we can scrape out a 2-2 road trip, we should throw skerry a parade
-
I’m sorry, but we are not close to jmu haha. They won like 25 in a row and only loss the last 2 years was at unc with the number 2 pick in the nfl draft.
We are closer to the bottom than jmu. Granted we are closer to being 2 in caa than last
-
Refs were awful. The “10 count” was hilarious. As was the little guys bltant flopping

48% of their shots are 3s.. this is going to be a tough one. They can shoot and Lyles is good

They are a good CAA team....and that is something to be appreciated. Coach Skerry has done a wonderful job....but to get to the next level, they need a signature win.....and a win over Pitt does that...a win over Manhattan does not.
A Win over Pitt is not a signature win. Maybe in 2008. Go on the road and beat c of c and Elon. That’s a statement

We're doing pretty well, in fact one of the best starts as you all are doubtless aware. And other HCs / teams likely have our prominent stature in mind as they face us; & they'll be gunning for us, wanting to be the one who'll gain recognition in toppling us; the "team to beat", if you will..
That said, I feel Skerry & Co will be motivating these Tigers. He knows he's got them on a roll...
Hope we get a good jump against MSU, which will give the bench valuable playing time.. Would like to also see a return to confidence and productivity w the 3-pt shooting..
If you watched the Manhattan game you could see the enthusiasm they had when they had a dunk or hit a three against us in the first half. It was almost like David vs Goliath to them. Kind of cool for it to be on the other foot after all those years

Does it matter? Fans (what few are left) are growing tired of rob and co. Attendance is dropping drastically. Season ticket holders are not renewing Students don’t care.
Program isn’t stagnant, it’s on life support
-
Great win! Followed at work but recorded it on the dvr for later
-
Playing mount away is fine. They are always a solid team. Way better than coppin. Morgan and Loyola.
Road ooc games against mids help more than d3 home games that We lose money on. (This coming from a season ticket holder)
2 for 1 in a10 towns, philly nyc Richmond. Our recruiting grounds..
-
So youre saying that playing a perennial solid mid major is not beneficial?? Umm anything is better than having to play Morgan umbc and Coppin every year
-
odu, mason, temple, lasalle all played here recently. wouldnt mind doing 2 for 1 with the a10 schools. is oakland coming to us next year? why cant we get mount st marys, navy here?
also wouldnt mind some maac teams, monmouth, rider, etc
-
Yeah... someone at unh has pictures of someone or something. Can’t wait to see us go 8-3 and beat them and then they get in over us at 7-4

Haha I know. The mike dunk at the end set them off. I think this helps, as they definitely see us as a thrreat.
We we played great the first half with mike and morman in foul trouble. Eddie did a good job with Brantley as well. Thought the refs called to many t’s on bs and didn’t call a lot of contact down low on both teams.
Charlesron has 3 really good players. All 3 are better than our top guys but 4-9/10 we have Them beat.
Id love for a round 3 on day March 6th
