Funny. After probably the first game I saw with Skerry under the helm I was telling Matt in chat that this team lacks the fundamentals. Ironically 7+ years later we're talking about the same thing....

I agree with him. Someone mentioned Skerry needs to address publicly that he needs to change his style completely. Not sure about that and may be difficult since he's been using the same template for years. It's just who he is. One thing he can change is his recruiting of players. You can't have everyone basically the same playing style. Funny I was thinking about that when I was playing full court the other night with a group of guys (and a lady). Had 2-3 good shooters, a scrapper who gets rebounds, awesome D, etc. in myself and a quality pg. Everything just worked and we just killed the competition. Just common sense honestly. How long has he been here now? Since 2011 or so. Sometimes being at the same place gets you stagnant and you need a change of fresh air. I think it is about that time but unfortunately because of absurd contracts he is stuck. I wouldn't be surprised if he would like to try his luck elsewhere as well.

Surprised we pulled this one out. Didn't see it but looks like Fobbs is the real deal. Wouldn't get to caught up in the win though. Long season ahead but nice to win one.

Timberlake and Fobbs seem to have most upside. Everyone else meh. As to whether they can improve with this staff and system remains to be seen...

If Skerry, staff, and kids constantly read this board that is one of the problems. Who in the heck should have free time perusing a message board with 5-7 posters who vents about clearly obviously flaws. That time should be spent studying tape, working hard in the gym, etc. You think Nick Saban or Tony Bennett and staff /players have time to check out what's said on a message board or even damn care? Good grief..

Nothing will change unless staffing changes. Sad reality and we will be having this SAME discussion this time next year. Deal with it..

Well, they were who we thought they were although I was expecting a win. Not too surprising though based on how we ended season. Playcalling, poor defense, etc. doomed us. We did better than expected so on to next season!

Will be home cheering the team on in my nice comfy and warm house.. 😁
