Good win streak going on. Have to give props but we've seen this trend before. Let's see how we execute on the road. Maybe we can erase those demons from past seasons...

Probably the best basketball I've seen in the Skerryball era (1st half). Fobbs was on fire and Betrand was a good second option. Passing was good and I liked the defense and physical toughness that half. Like others have said, I am not sold on Gibson. Had some erratic possessions where he was just out of control. Saw a bit of the 2nd half and they reverted back to the same careless play I've seen over the years. Why shoot a 3 with plenty of time left on the shot clock with a big lead? This is why I do not have confidence going against better teams. Drexel could have easily made this more interesting if they hit a few more open shots. Nice win though.

Hope you get reimbursed from the school by signing up for that...

They played an awful second half against Elon and it carried over to W&M. They played zero defense and I think they really miss a post presence. Maia Lee (6-4) and Janeen Camp (6-5) are gone. They didn't really replace them. Lakaitlyn Wright (6-3) is decent. Tess Borgosz (6-4) I believe is hurt.
And let's face it. Teams are gunning for us now. If you show up with your "C" game, you are getting beat. Teams are hyped to pay the champs and we're just not responding. Shooting 38% from the field and 29% from long range doesn't help. They aren't getting a lot of easy looks inside and that where they miss Camp and Lee. That opened it up for the guards.
Oh ok. Looks like their departure is part to blame. Definitely need presence down low..

What in the world is going on with the ladies? After the success of last season they are way below .500 and 0-2 in conference. I thought the majority of the team was coming back or did we lose some key pieces? Not looking promising and would be disheartened to see the season go to waste after the tournament appearance last season...

Crickets when we win verification- 45 replies on the loss, 14 on the win....
Crickets usually imply "next to nothing". Your statement contradicts itself...
A win is a win (in ugly fashion as some stated) against a poor team so nothing to boast about. Let's see if the trend from past seasons continues...

I know you were speaking in general terms but please do not include me in the "everyone" as I have not spoken or mentioned the last 2+ years. I'm sure I am like others who visit the site often in that I read the post but always hesitate to respond or post because I do not want my opinions to be ripped or responded with sarcasm. Being grouped with some on here that you can basically predict their responses reaffirms my hesitations.
Don't take anything personal from Mat. He comes at everyone but he is overall harmless. Welcome. lol

Interesting..

I only see one way of ending his contract prematurely. That is reverting back to the 5 wins or less seasons from which we came from during the Pat's cats era. Higher ups would have no choice but to make a change. That may be difficult since he does recruit moderately well. Coaching and developing is a different story...

Someone mentioned the other day about finding dirt on skerry. Man if 2011/2012 was 2019 his words and actions would have led him to the door already ...
Wait huh? Please elaborate..lol

It's Skerry ball baby!!!!
Seriously, won't go into name calling but been predicting the same outcome each season after I saw his first couple of squads hit the floor when he took over. Stuck with him and let's get ready for football season next year (who knows how that will go..)

Well, most knew the outcome, just had to wonder how much would we lose by..

Venue is nice but small. Dark lighting. No center hung scoreboard. Two side ones. Seats are close to action. Very pricy concessions. Bathrooms are small if there was a crowd it would be backed up.
Its in a bad neighborhood and there’s nothing around. No bar. Restaurants. Or hotel. But when I left there was a cop with lights on at EVERY corner
Welcome to DC. Lol

Tough game on the road? LOL...
Well it's good we have a team with some name recognition coming to us..

Indeed. I commented on this a while back. Makes no sense since we have a relatively new arena.

Well, nothing too surprising. Vermont is a good team..

I think I remember that Michigan matchup at the Towson Center. Think it was pretty hype...

You get 5 pages of rants and calling for everyones heads after a loss.
Yet after a solid win over an A-10 team all be it a bit very good one. Barely 1.5 pages and most of it isn't about the win.
Well. For those who think this is such a horrible team. Take a look at Basketball Rankings---an unbiased source---current ranking and prediction of finish.
LOL. Nothing to really boast about beating a lower bottom A10 team in St. Joe (they were decent not too long ago). Good that they rebounded but let's not get excited. Again, those are just predictions and some who have followed the team for the past several years are not that optimistic based on things we've seen recently and from the past regarding Skerry's team. Again, things can always change and hoping for the better...

Again with the name-calling. If you think I'm defending him after today's game, you are sadly mistaken. I didn't make the contract. I'm not paying the buyout, if that ever happens. Maybe I'll be calmer tomorrow but I'm still not allowing personal attacks unless Tiger Nation thinks it's ok. It's his board.
And if I really wanted to censor shit and kiss Rob's ass, I would have deleted every post calling for his job. I don't care. Free for all about on the field shit.
Wasn't sure if you were comfortable with posting what was said in chat so I kept it minimal. Understandable though. My apologies... lol

Heard from the grapevine that Ambrose won't make it past next year with this loss. Let's see if that intel is true Matt. ..lol

LOL...
Am surprised Skerry did not do a postgame interview. Must be heartbroken at this point...
