  1. 1. " Winning is something the administration has no control over." -- They definitely have some control over this whether it be just hiring.

    2. Also radio / tv / billboards dont work anymore. They need to get better at online marketing.

    3. Not selling alcohol definely has an impact. The turtle tent helps but not everyone can go down there. Selling beer in stands would help IMO.

  2. Yeah the school needs to do better with engaging their students. They're too scared because they dont ever wanna deal with the downsides of being a big school. Only the upsides. They wanna grow. I know students hate Deb Morarity (spelled that wrong) but she is the main reason why tailgates were booted and they dont engage with greek life. ENGAGE WITH STUDENTS. Even the community. There is no community that supports Towson, on any level.. The surrounding homes dont want to see towson grow. They take for granted the economic impact Towson and their students have on the community.

That doesn't mean he's leaving because he's unhappy about a certain thing. Like I said, there might not be a job opening that intrigues him but Michigan was a legit play last season. Thankfully, he stayed. But you have to be realistic and think that the atmosphere at a Towson game is horrendous compared to Maryland, Syracuse, Hopkins, Loyola, etc. Those jobs aren't open but I can't imagine that he's thrilled with the way we promote a team that went to the final four last season. The weather plays a part to the horrific attendance but again, my guess they'd like a little more respect.

which they deserve.. maybe he doesnt feel the school is behind him as much he is behind the school

Look at it this way. Is it out of desperation? Sort of, but it looks like the young man can play. Has a decent shot and floater with some post moves. Can he defend more athletic fours at this level? Can he play inside against guys like Knight and Cacok? Can he be a rotation player right away? Will likely compete with Solomon O. for the starting or backup power forward spot or we could go with Sanders and Thomas or Sanders and Tunstall up front with Fobbs, Betrand and T.J. Obviously, we desperately need a 2-guard to replace Zane, assuming he's gone. Still not 100% sure both are gone but we can't wait forever. But likely will know more in next couple of weeks if JG and ZM are gone. There are other options as well if Timberlake doesn't commit.

The good news is that at least we have more options at the post this season. Bad news is that Gorham could have been a 16/8 guy next to Sanders, who could be at least a 12/8 guy.

I am friends with JG ( acquaintances with Zane) but they constantly talk about "free 4" or "free zano" on instagram as if we are attempting to hold them back somehow. It does seem like they are intent on leaving atleast on social media

These upgrades are long overdue. Getting extra practice fields (turfed) will help out with recruiting! I just hope one of the turfed fields will be an indoor facility (The lower practice field would be the perfect place for it) That would allow teams to practice in bad weather, cold weather (for the outdoor spring sports) and just help bring us in line with JMU and Delaware.
