Avoiding suspensions for the JME game should move them to #1 (I realize it doesn't work like that). We are 226th, which is #7 in the CAA. Man, I really hope UNCWs luck runs out soon, (like starting this week).

Booooooo!!!! I think at this point we've demonstrated there are 2 teams in the top tier. We've now defeated Hofstra by double digits twice. We beat Del at their home and are only down 9 points with nearly an entire half remaining. We lost to UNCW in OT. Our only real blemish is the first loss to Drexel, in which we fell apart in the last minute of the game. Tier 2 is Hofstra, Delaware, and Drexel Stop being a debbie downer about this team.

I was creeping on the Hofstra blogs to see what they had to say about the game. "Offensively, you cannot win games when you don't move the ball and don't move people, and when you're not shooting lights out and when you don't have guys who can score enough on their own. Towson plays together. They're a pleasure to watch. HU looks like its struggles for everything it gets. Way too much 1-on-1." Can't say I've seen that written about a TU team in a long time.

This is a game we should be able to win, but we will find a way to lose. This happens time and again, we're playing against a Power 5 school (are they still called Power 5) that's not very good and we appear halfway decent. Someway/somehow we will not win tonight. Fingers crossed that I'm wrong. Go Tigers.

This season (like everything since March) is a lost cause and I'm not judging anyone based on what's happening. We have a bunch of new players and 2 pauses b/c of COVID.

It makes sense that a big league like the ACC would want this. B/c if the teams don't start playing until January then they lose out on many of the non-conference games where the rack up the Ws. Many of these teams are barely over .500 and rely on the out of conference wins to pad their resume. Generally the NCAA does not have teams with sub .500 records in the Tourny.

I disagree and think a number of people will miss the team not playing this fall. I would assume RA has spoken to the most important people, the players, coaches, etc. Otherwise, I'm not overly concerned about statements from the Admin, etc. regarding football or any sports right now during this very crazy and fluid situation. I don't think it's unreasonable to sit and wait to see how shit plays out before making public statements. Look at Big 10 and Pac 12, they were all about going forward with football within conference and making alternative plans, but it was never going to happen. Everything is upside down. I'm not sure what kind of bubble you all live in, but there's a whole lot more pressing issues than whether Towson football or any football is played this fall. Millions of people are out of work and/or are working at reduced salaries wondering how they will make ends meet. People with children are worried whether their children will be safe at school this year and if they are not going to be in school, how will they work while also watching their children. Nobody cares about any sports right now. I'm a diehard Mets fan and have maybe watch 4 innings total this year. Sports of any kind is the last thing on my mind. I live in NYC and it's a fucking ghost town. Sorry, I just need to vent a little. Hope you all are well.
