    Pat Skerry & Tim Leonard

There seemed to be a lot of debacles. I'm not sure how, but we hung with Michigan that one night (mostly b/c Raul DePablo was on fire from 3)

Can you refresh my memory? I was affiliated with the team when D. Newton v. Drexel.

I worked with the team in 97-99 when it was Jaskulski and crew and we were terrible. Jas made poor choices with recruiting and assistant coaches. The asst coaches were BAD to say it nicely. The program was a disaster and we were in the America East regularly entering the conference tournament as one of the last place teams. Granted we had a couple of good people/players Ralph Biggs, Brian Barber, etc. There were a number of people who did not belong in any Division 1 program (players and coaches alike).

    Jones, Barnes, Biekeu sign LOI

Looks like Jones picked TU over offers from Virginia Tech, UMass, Old Dominion, and a couple more. That's decent company. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/235253/darrick-jones-jr

Are we done with recruiting, transfers, etc for 2019? Are all available scholarships allocated?

    MBB lands big transfer

According to verbal commits the following are 6'8" players with immediate eligibility and that have not already committed to a new team: Micaiah Henry (Tenn Tech) 9.7ppg 4.7rpg Romani Hansen (Sav. St.) 9.5ppg 5.5rpg Shaquillo Fritz (Ark. St.) 1.9ppg 2.6rpg Emmanuel Olojakpoke (Akron) 1.6ppg 1.7rpg Alonzo Tyson (Col. St.) no stats and before that (Cape Fear CC) 14ppg 8.4rpg Jalen Willians (Furman) 1.4ppg 1.8rpg Unless this player is not listed on verbal commits, or information posted is otherwise incorrect (i.e. height, eligibility, etc.) then I'm not sure any of these players will significantly help us get to the Dance.

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Even if he did not play? I was under the impression that you had to sit out one school calendar year between suiting up for different schools (other than grad transfer or special circumstances).

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

If he redshirted last season wouldn't he be eligible to play immediately?

    D1 Transfers from Verbal Commits

Apparently Nathan Knight of W&M declared for NBA draft. I'm assuming this could be like a ZM thing and he's gone either way. Looks like W&M and Elon will have completely empty cupboards next season.

Why do you have Fobbs highlighted? Is he also leaving?

    Northeastern's Donnell Gresham is transferring.

Fingers crossed that he's the PG we've been needing.

    Skerry's Staff

Isn't this almost the entry level position of college coaching (after grad assistant, etc.)?

    2019 Basketball Offers

In 18-19 his numbers dropped to 6 ppg and 35.8% from three. He also looks like he is 15 years old.

How much of scheduling is Skerry actually responsible for? Back when I worked with the program (late 90s) the coaches had little to no say. Maryland didn't want to play us, let alone come to TU. (I believe it was b/c Gary Williams didn't want to risk losing to us.) In general big schools don't want to be a road team at a small school or mid-major. Generally just doesn't happen. Only way we're getting big names is on neutral courts (the pre-season tournaments) or we're traveling to them. When Michigan came to TU (1997) it was b/c they were doing it as a courtest for Louis Bullock.

A halfway athletic 7 footer in the CAA, I'll take my chances and bring him on board.

Seeding does kinda stink, but being paired against the most dominant college basketball program over the last 20 years in the first round makes it way worse.

    UConn?

Our most successful football team (2013) went into Connecticut and bested the Huskies. This is our most successful women's basketball team and we're going into Connecticut...... (Fingers crossed)

To an extent. He was apparently at Elon for 10 years and in the last 5 in the CAA had a winning record one single season. Elon simply has not even been competing (like Towson before PS).

    TOWSON 53, DREXEL 49 - CAA CHAMPIONS
