Probably doesn’t mean much, but I’ve watched a couple of his post game pressers from UWF, and I like his demeanor. Straight shooter type. Seems like he’ll represent the program well. Let’s hope he can recruit and win ballgames.

I remember the effort we gave back when we were down in Baton Rouge. Oh how we’ve fallen. -
MBB falls to Pitt on the road 63-59 (story up)

Bummer we lost, but I still really like this team. Only the 4th game this squad has played together. Just from the eye test, IQ, ball handling, and ball movement is miles ahead of past skerry teams. More shooters than ever - ball just has to start falling. We’ll be ok. -
Was at the game today. Still a small sample size, but this team moves the ball around better and has better IQ on the floor than any other Skerry team I can remember. D was great. More assists than turnovers again, usually a rare occurrence for us. Hampton’s offense looked like past Towson offenses. Nice to see balanced scoring. Also, my god Timberlake has springs for feet - almost had the most ridiculous two handed tip slam I’ve seen.

Must be nice. A lot of money in evangelical Christianity and online diploma mill courses.

Consistently win games that matter. Beat big time programs. That’s it.

Let’s goooo Absolute domination!!

I can’t recall the last time we had a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio. Awesome team effort!

Proud of the team and how they battled! Pumped to be on the winning side of a game like this. With how the season has gone, I was sure we were going to let this slip away. Love the resiliency. This will pay dividends moving forward. UMBC ain’t no slouch. Fobbs, just wow. Also glad to see McNeil hit some huge 3s down the stretch (since we’ve been so critical of him lately). Tunstall with a monster game on the boards. Big morale booster for Skerry & Co I’m sure. We needed this.

I can’t disagree with this. I don’t recall his contract terms, but I’ll be more comfortable with seeing how next year goes before any changes are made. I guess I’m just sympathetic.
-
I doubt he told Zane or Justin to transfer, but who knows. I’m not qualified to speak on that situation, but I know he brought both of them in and they would have been a huge help this year. Regardless, Skerry needs to figure it out with the players he has.

I’m a Skerry supporter, but I’m speechless today. It makes me uncomfortable calling for people’s jobs, but he HAS to make some adjustments the rest of the year. I get it’s a new team with many inexperienced players, but the rotation/substitutions need to be figured out. If I recall, towards the end of the game, Fobbs was subbed out for Solomon...

Same. So pissed. Thank god we’re not playing MD today. I’m a Skerry fan, but today was on him. Personnel decisions made zero sense. Howard can score, but cannot handle the press. Dottin gets subbed out for no reason and McNeil plays while tossing up bricks all afternoon. Have we not seen a press before?

Definitely demoralizing to Skerry. But with that being said, I was encouraged by some of the things I saw tonight. Vermont is a solid mid major and we’re only going to improve.
