  1. streameast.app/ncaa-live-streams

I use StreamEast for NFL and NCAAFB and its usually really good, but never tried it with NCAABB.

If you get an ad, close out the new window and re-click play on the video player - should do the trick. Ads are not nearly as bad as some other streaming sites.

Georgia and Oregon game is working right now, so fingers crossed for our game.

  2. I attended TU from 2009 - 2013.

When I arrived, people did not give a shit about Towson athletics. Apathy at its highest. We were terrible at football/basketball. I wanted to get involved as a fan and attend games, but my roommates were die-hard Penn State fans and I couldn't pay them to come to a game. All they wanted to do was drink at the tailgate, then go back to the dorms/apartments and hang out with girls. It's not until T-West came to town and we started winning and garnering some regional/national attention, did people finally say, "Hey, Towson is pretty good at football." Then Grant Enders and Jerrelle Benimon came along. Friends of mine were finally willing to go into the stadium/arena and watch a game. We regularly talked about the team, kept an eye on the score for away games, and talked about upcoming seasons. We started going to lacrosse games as well. It slowly started becoming cool to go to the tailgates and games. Even the girls wanted to go, which was unheard of. Then we had our blunders and couldn't capitalize:

    • Tailgating fiasco
    • Losing to Lehigh in the playoffs in-front of a sold out crowd (the hype for this game was insane btw and wow was it a bummer when we lost)
    • Missing the playoffs with our best team ever in 2012
    • Getting blown out in the Natty
    • NCAA basketball tourney ban
    • etc

Kids want to be "cool" and feel like they are a part of something greater. Going to a boring tailgate to watch a bad product is not "cool."

You can do all the marketing, promotions, staff changes, facility upgrades you want, but if you don't win, students will not care about TU sports. Just f****** win. It's that easy.

  3. Was at the game today. Still a small sample size, but this team moves the ball around better and has better IQ on the floor than any other Skerry team I can remember. D was great. More assists than turnovers again, usually a rare occurrence for us. Hampton’s offense looked like past Towson offenses. Nice to see balanced scoring. Also, my god Timberlake has springs for feet - almost had the most ridiculous two handed tip slam I’ve seen.

SHHH... don't question Pat's greatness... We won! Be happy! Who cares if it was a team with a 2-5 record. They were missing a guy who averaged 10 and 9 PPG the last two years and 6 and 5 on the boards. He is also there best defender and would likely have been on Brian.

Exams. But palying 3 games in 25 days isn't ideal, thanks Cornell! Not sure why you think Liberty is random? They are a semi-Mid Major (school pumping tons of money into athletics) local program. They are good and that one could be very ugly

Must be nice. A lot of money in evangelical Christianity and online diploma mill courses.

  5. Proud of the team and how they battled! Pumped to be on the winning side of a game like this. With how the season has gone, I was sure we were going to let this slip away. Love the resiliency. This will pay dividends moving forward. UMBC ain’t no slouch.

Fobbs, just wow. Also glad to see McNeil hit some huge 3s down the stretch (since we’ve been so critical of him lately). Tunstall with a monster game on the boards.

Big morale booster for Skerry & Co I’m sure. We needed this.

Brad, I wholeheartedly agree that it’s awkward, at best, to advocate for a coach to get axed, especially a guy like Skerry who is a great family guy, graduates kids & rescued our program from the abyss. We’re talking livelihoods, I totally get it. But at what point do on-court results supersede all those things?

I contend that the program is treading water, if not out & out regressed. The “he rescued us from the Pat Kennedy debacle” while true, rings hollow with age now. At the 8-year mark, we’re farther away from winning a regular season conference championship and/or conference tournament as we were when Skerry took over. I defy anyone to tell me different & keep a straight face while telling me.

    I can’t disagree with this.

I don’t recall his contract terms, but I’ll be more comfortable with seeing how next year goes before any changes are made. I guess I’m just sympathetic.

The recurring “it’s a new team” or “it’s a young team” needs to stop. Skerry is the one that put this team together. It is not as if someone on the street to,d him he had to coach a new or inexperienced team.

If you get extensions when you win, you take the heat when they don’t

I doubt he told Zane or Justin to transfer, but who knows. I’m not qualified to speak on that situation, but I know he brought both of them in and they would have been a huge help this year.

Regardless, Skerry needs to figure it out with the players he has.

  8. I’m a Skerry supporter, but I’m speechless today.

It makes me uncomfortable calling for people’s jobs, but he HAS to make some adjustments the rest of the year.

I get it’s a new team with many inexperienced players, but the rotation/substitutions need to be figured out. If I recall, towards the end of the game, Fobbs was subbed out for Solomon...

I won’t bash names but will say I’m embarrassed to lose to a local school. On the 17th try a local team beat us and that should never happen. I’m fuming here in my seat at Royal Farms

Same. So pissed. Thank god we’re not playing MD today.

I’m a Skerry fan, but today was on him. Personnel decisions made zero sense. Howard can score, but cannot handle the press. Dottin gets subbed out for no reason and McNeil plays while tossing up bricks all afternoon.

Have we not seen a press before?

I thought Thomas was decent on D, but he is a terrible liability on O. One pass clanked off his hands, & he simply cannot finish around the basket. The other senior on the team, McNeil, ain’t exactly setting the world on fire either.

    Agreed.

Thomas is allergic to making bunnies.
