Dude, We’ve only been to the 1AA playoffs 3 times . One was a trip to the National Championship and one was an anomaly(Duquesne). The Lehigh game was our first attempt at it , Missing our starting OC, DB and LB. What’s with the “one and done” crap. Let’s get there a few more times and see what’s up. Holy Crap, stop being so negative. We showed well against Florida without 6 starters and down 13 of the top 44! Florida, not Rutgers or effing Virginia. You do realize that Florida has a $48mm football budget, right?

2010 Cheap shot Nova... I remember their coaches jumping up and down with the players on the sideline. Dangerfield made them pay for it in 2011.

We're 3-0 and about to be ranked in the top five

I think this team is very dialed in. Team leadership won’t let distractions take over game preparation. -
That’s the beauty of the TO, if you execute it perfectly, you can’t stop it. Alabama couldn’t stop it, Michigan couldn’t stop it (army) and GT couldn’t stop it.
-
Yep, anytime an FCS can beat an FBS it’s a big day. With 85 scholarships, you are 4 deep at every position.

The TO equalizes the gap in talent that the academies and other service type schools have to deal with..

However, some people on this board don’t spend the time to fully understand what they are posting. They spew negative nonsense at every turn.

He would have to petition the NCAA for medical redshirt. If he wants it, he would most likely get it. -
You must be joking!

No. 8 Tigers demolish No. 9 Black Bears, 45-23

The Tigers were way more physical than Maine last night. They and their fans were in complete shock from the middle of the first quarter,on. -
Lighting was adequate for field play. Field was in terrible shape, not suitable for an NCAA game.

No, tigers leapfrog to #4 this week. Kennesaw has a weak resume and the weak Big South won’t help them. That was an emphatic FCS win last night. -
Gotta be way better than we played Saturday night. Can’t leave yards and points on the field as we did last year. Simpson is going to need to get more carries and Tom has to take off when the open space is in front of him. I want to see our DL get up the field and create havoc in the Black Bear backfield.

Good luck Coach Ramirez.

Again, Who is working on updating the fall rosters on the website? The roster is incomplete at best and doesn’t include full bios. Unacceptable at a Div1 institution.
-
Very vanilla game plan last night. DL used base package with no stunts or twists. Not a clean game by any means. On to redemption against the Black Bears.

Well, your source must be misinformed. Nads was making more than the Navy was paying in in 2018. I’ve spoken to guys that are in the interview process and Navy is not going to offer 3x above market salaries.

Can’t wait until Saturday

Spot on

Please support your argument with facts and statistics. My research shows that The Citadel was tied with # 1 Alabama last November at halftime. My research also shows that the Citadel offense had virtually the same yds per carry, number of plays and time of possession as they had against us on Saturday. I’d say if they can run that offense against Alabama, their gonna be able to run it on anybody! BYW, they returned all but 1 player from last year on that offense.

No. 11 Tigers edge The Citadel on final drive, 28-21

Thought we played well at times on offense. Flacco didn’t make all of the right reads with the RPO. Physically, we look like an FBS team. Especially Our perimeter guys, big and fast -
I’m hopeful that Deberry is gonna be ok. If not, the younger guys will have to take the next step and fill that spot. I think the plan with Ricky was to move him all over the place in the front 7. I don’t think you will be able to do that with the young guys.
-
I will find out and post. The move is required because of the new synthetic turf surface of Soccer stadium and practice fields. That area is now fenced off.
-
Yes, lights are in. Phase 1 included a new drainage system, all electrical infrastructure and the light standards/ fixtures. FB probably will also practice there in the future. You’ll have the soccer/multipurpose stadium and 2 and 1/3 fields for practices. This essentially gets us to G5 level facilities, minus an indoor field. JMU and UD are already there.
