Laughing and cracking jokes of what has become a joke of a program isn’t childish. It’s a way to cope with how we’ve been passed by almost every caa program and still have the same staff that has a grand total of 0 playoff wins and just 1 paltry appearance in the last 8 years. Fan and student support is lower than it has been since my freshman year (08) where we fired a coach who also could not get the job done.
Thanks for your concern.Yes, I’m very concerned about the way you have attacked these young men and their program.

Thanks for your concern.Your post have repeatedly attacked these young men and the opportunity the our football program presents to them. Why do you want to take away opportunities for young men to get an education and play the game they love? What is your agenda?

That pissed espn off leading to very few and now even more rare games on their platforms. Unless we are in a tournament or on the road, we will not be on Espn platforms.
I didn’t mind games on Comcast and masn much easier to watch other games in all sports around the league. Jmu Charleston Ne and maybe Drexel have their games on some local affiliates, abc, Comcast, NESN but are paid by the schools I think. Still foot promotion of the schools. You don’t know how many times I’d get texts from friends and family “hey we started watching the Towson basketball game thr other day, just happened to be flipping through the channels”. Can't do that with flo sports. You either know about the games and care to watch or don’t have access to the casual/random fan
And before people jump on me, yes I know Saturdays game is on PBS(in Maryland) lmfao. Probably better if people don’t watch the people trying to coach and play football up on auburn drive 😂
Why do all of your posts contain childish comments? “Lmfao, 🤣, hee hee,lol “ “Probably better if people don’t watch the people trying to coach and play football up on Auburn drive.”
What grudge do you have against the 18-23 year old young men on the team?

I like it. Time to stir the pot at Towson.

does anyone know who holds the all time towson bench, squat, deadlift records?
I know that there have been a few benching over 525 and multiple 650 + lbs squatters. Me… just below those numbers 😉

Oh snap! He’s a 6’3 243lbs backer from Oregon. Hmmm …

The school cannot be involved in any way, other that educate the SA on how to make the transaction.

He’s passed for less than 2,600 yds in his entire career! I like him, but, he has not been healthy for a full season. (Aside from a truncated 2021 spring)

Funny how UDel went 5-6 and….

This in the industry (transfer portal) that the NCAA has created. He did not quit on UMD, WKU or Ole Miss… it’s part of the game that the NCAA has created. Very different landscape than it was in 1995.

This really puts rising HS seniors in a difficult position. There are less scholarships available for 1st year freshmen and I don’t foresee that changing.

Mat, thanks for your efforts. His next few hires will be important to the future of his success at Towson.

1 hour ago, TSU88 said:Actually, I just remembered he suffered a season ending injury in 2017 vs U of Texas, very early that season (might have been season opener). So that got him a redshirt season + 2020 got him a COVID extra season.
Yep, that’s it. He was injured in 2017 vs Texas. 1st game of the year.

1 hour ago, TSU88 said:I went back and looked at his stats. You’re correct, he did see time at QB in 2016. If he was only 18 at the time, he would be 24 this fall, which might make him younger than, or at least close in age to, a few NFL QB’s.
This will be the 6th season he’ll participate in (2016-2020; 2022. He didn’t see the field at all last year, it appears). This will be his 4th school-UM, WKU, Ole Miss (where he didn’t play); and now TU.
Something about that just doesn’t seem right, but this is the way the NCAA is structured, so if he doesn’t come here, he goes to another school, and we potentially lose out on a impact player. Still, all in all, stuff like this leaves me feeling a bit of unease
2016-RS
2017-Fr
2018-So
2019-Jr
2020- CoVid
2021 - Sr
2022- Super Sr

Correct, these are monitors worn by FB, Basketball , lax etc. They monitor the athletes vitals while also providing data from on the field performance. IE how fatigued the athlete is, jumping, sprinting etc

Huge get. Top transfer in the CAA. I look at him as a developing player with a Riller type upside.

Too early to tell. Who’s gonna be the Qb? We’ll know more in the next 90 days.

Really, he’s been continually hammering the players, staff and FCs football. A school with 26k students needs to have football. Football brings opportunities to young men. As a state school, we are here to educate the masses. 2012 wants Towson to take away opportunities for boys.
