Tonight’s win should tell you something about this team. I don’t think this is a game we win last year and especially not two years ago. A friend of mine is a big UNCG fan and told me at half that this game wasn’t over. This team is winning in spite of themselves right now and I think this group is going to be something special when it all clicks. To win on the road, down 13, without Gibson is remarkable. There is stuff to be critical of sure, but let’s also enjoy this win. This was as impressive as come 4-0 feels sweet

I’ll gladly take a work in progress 3-0 than the alternative. They’ve got stuff to clean up but so does everyone else. They’re going to keep getting better as they gel.

Yeah no chance would I pay $30 a month for their POS product. It’s a shame, guess I won’t be watching many games this year. That or I’ll be streaming best I can

Really love the idea of the new tailgate spot. Awesome for folks who don’t want to do their own set up

So much of it goes back to tailgating and the atmosphere the university has unfortunately created. in 2011, my fraternity, along with a bunch of others would set up in the corner of Lot 11. We would all grill, brought generators and speakers. It was a giant party. We did a good job of policing our own and never really had any issues. I can remember us racing to get to Unitas so we would get a good tailgate spot Now, you have a bunch of rent a cops hassling both students and alumni about what is in their coolers. It’s absurd to me that we treat our guests like children and then expect them to want to come to games. I’m not saying we can have a bunch of 18 year olds just ripping shots from handles of vodka in plain sight, but a bit of discretion can go a long way. If students have stuff in cups, just let them be for the most part, otherwise they’re just going to go uptown and do the same thing there. Two homecomings ago SAFE got on our ass, despite our tailgate being a mix of students, alumni, families and even some folks in their 60s. It’s never pleasant with them either. Never “hey guys, mind putting that in a cup?”. Always just a flex of their wanna be powers.

Cam just retweeted this, feels very tongue in check. Guess that interview he did earlier about how much he loved his teammates and this program was a lot of fluff. Really a shame that he views brining Sylla in as a diss against him and not a plus for the program. He also deleted a tweet that said he won’t ever forgot how they did him dirty and I imagine that is also in reference to this

Good for Terry. Zero % chance he is drafted but hopefully he can carve out a living overseas and support his family.

Look this sucks. I feel like my heart has been ripped out for the millionth time but this was still a hell of a season. No postmortem from me yet. Let’s go win a game in the NIT. Important for the program. Not down plying the loss, it’s as bad as they come but we’ve got at least one more game to look at these guys.

I have been pretty critical of Chase but man did he bail us out with that bucket last night. If he can play with a bit of a mean streak, some additional toughness, he could really help us
