So those 4 home games could be UMBC, Morgan State, George Washington and ??? This is assuming we are continuing our annual series with the locals and that the GW contract was at least a 1 home 1 away.

Job is posted on Towson's HR website for a new head coach and I'm probably reading too much into things but there was no mention of the EAGL, whereas the job for an assistant WLAX coach mentions competing in the CAA.

Pretty sure this position was started by Mike Waddell. I think the first guy that filled the position works for the Brooklyn Nets now. I hope he's done his research and knows that this is a challenging place to grow and sustain interest in the programs. Think outside the box. Best of luck to him.

So it looks like the Florida game is the on campus game for the Charleston Classic. Too bad we're not hosting an on campus game against St. Joe's or Buffalo.

I gotta believe that it's also been hard on her personally because her and the cross country coach got married and then he was let go. A shame that the team can't fight for a top spot in the EAGL. Wonder how their funding compares Pitt, NC State, GW etc. Good luck to her.

I won't comment on TuTigers2012 and every one on this board has differing opinions on the state of Towson athletics and my opinion is different from one week to the next, but the bottom line here and to other threads...I don't care how Skerry compares to Shaver or any other coach. I don't care how many wins Towson has compared to the other 9 schools in the Colonial. I lost count of how many f-bombs I threw at the TV when we lost to Madison. All I care about is Towson making it to the big dance again and again and again. No sport at Towson has the opportunity to be the front porch of the University all around the country like Towson men's basketball. I truly appreciate all the research done to pull together stats left and right, but bottom line is that Towson has to make it to the tourney. We can still graduate players and lead the country in community service when making it to the tournament. Those things will simply complement the fact that Towson has an excellent basketball program. I'll continue to dream.

I was so tempted to respond to his tweet on Sunday when he was doing a photo shoot at the Northeastern/Towson WBB game and ask so when will you sign us up for a real TV deal. He has done nothing for this conference. So sr16 what do you consider to be his other 2 priorities?

On the trail again to see Burgess play tonight...

TSN certainly has no where to go but up but last nights production by CBS college sports live wasn't much better. Screen blacked out routinely, audio was soft from announcers and loud on commercials and even their professional production didn't have the ability or didn't know how to show the shot clock on the graphic. All the ADs and Presidents better be all over the commish over his inability to land a TV deal.

Most games including the one last night I just cast from my laptop to my TV for free. Even the game last night was free

Since this is a mixed bag of subjects, my wish is that we find the funding to have our own limited TV package since the new(er) CAA commissioner seems content with streaming events. Something is certainly wrong when low majors see more air time than the Colonial. Off the top of my head at the very least Northeastern and JMU have ponied up the cash and now the chickens and dragons have combined to strike a deal for basketball with NBC Sports. Can be frustrating watching TSN with no graphics showing the score or time for the 1st half of the UNCW game, never a shot clock graphic and only the once in a blue moon of Spiro having a sidekick color commentator. Also, spotted this yesterday on the CAA boards and it really stuck with me. So I checked out the University of Houston's website to confirm what Houston's president said after stealing (thankfully) the football coach away from WVU. He was quoted during the football press conference that "we could have an excellent athletics program, because that is an asset to the University. A mediocre program is not an asset, it's a liability. We want to be nationally relevant. You can't be relevant if you're not winning." Maybe someday...

Looks like the major schools cooled off on Koby Isaac (6'3" 160?) since he received early interest as a HS sophomore and no published interest from anyone in 2018 (at least according to verbal commits). Looks like Towson and La Salle are the only mid-majors to have shown recent interest.

According to a Jeff Goodman article posted on www.verbalcommits.com, a forward transfer out of Nebraska (Dedoch Chan) is considering an offer from Towson.
