Drexel with 2 assists in the first half.  Their offense reminds me of ours the last few years (prior to this year).  They took a bunch of tough shots and had a hard time with UNCW's D.

drexel's offense is really stagnant.  They run that stupid weave out front that only seems to burn up the shot clock.  

Charles has been the best big, statistically in the CAA during conference play.  He has to be in play for first or 2nd team all CAA.  His numbers are better than Painter and he plays better defense.  The offense of the best team in the CAA runs through CT.  I'd put him and Cam on the 1st team.  Nick on the 2nd team.  No doubt in my mind those three should do no worse than top 2 teams.  

I think you are being way too tough on your own players here, Matt.  Nick is far more efficient than Jameer Nelson and, again, is on a much better team.  Towson and Hofstra should pepper the first two teams.  

I think Skerry should get coach of the year, but Siddle is a good choice too.  Estrada is hands down CAA POY.  Amazing the mill of scorers that Hofstra seems to pull in year after year.  

JMU has gotten walked off twice now by UNCW.  Dukes had a zillion opportunities to close this out.

JMU was up 9, now down to 2...JMU subsequently turns it over and then allows 2 straight offensive rebounds to UNCW.  C'mon Dukes.  

Here comes another CAA game where the favored team comes through at the last moment to steal a win.  JMU is fading fast.  

UNCW lost a guy against us as well.  They are really thin right now.  

Evidently the suspensions carry into next week.

I hope UNCW gets a suspension as well!  Too bad they didn't let Phillips loose so that he could face a punishment!  

Interesting stat poached from the UNCW board:

Towson made it the 147th time this season that a team won by at least 24 points with at least 18 more rebounds and at least 13 more assists, but only 35 times were against a Division I team. Towson became the first CAA team to do that against a Division I team since Drexel won 84-39 hosting Niagara on December 28, 2010. Towson became the 26th team from 2010-2011 to now to do that at a Division I team.

In the second half, Towson scored 16 more points and committed 16 fouls. I wonder how rare that is.

Hopkins goalies are awful.  Rest of their team seems solid.
