I was looking at some team stats posted over on the JMU board that aren't really surprising, but are interesting.
JMU has the #12 total offense (464.8 ypg) and the #6 scoring offense (40.4 ppg) going against our #64 total defense (396.3 ypg) and #47 scoring defense (26 ppg). DiNucci is a very efficient passer and has the potential to carve us up. Their run game could also dominate us. If can somehow manage to force mistakes and generate turnovers as we have done this season (#4 TO margin, +9), we could keep things competitive.
On the other side, JMU has an elite, #1 ranked rushing defense (68.3 ypg, 4 TDs) so I imagine they'll be daring Flacco and company to beat them through the air. JMU's pass D isn't their strength, but consider that the forecast is calling for rain and it could be a really tough game for our offense.

Seems their fans believe so...

Has anyone heard anything about TWest and the XFL? He made some vague references on social media, but I never know what to believe with him.

Blounge, we should try to get a watch group together. Lotta Tigers on the peninsula.

As a South Baltimore Tiger, I would love to have a bar to go to for games. Even if they don't call themselves a Towson bar, we should definitely try to meet up somewhere for a game or two this year.

But come on, they have been promoting games at the TU shuttle stops since I was a freshman (and obviously before), this isn't anything new.
This isn't on campus, it's in South Baltimore/Locust Point. I am not sure I've ever seen marketing like this in the neighborhood.

My feelings exactly. I am making it a goal to participate more on these forums.

JMU fans are delusional. They have a good thing going down there, but they act like they deserve an invite to the ACC.

It really is embarrassing. During my time at TU (2010-2015), I felt like no one cared at all about football or other sports, but tailgates were still a huge party. The game day experience these days is simply non-existent from a student perspective. Something is clearly wrong and it's a bummer to see.
-
The security at tailgates is absolutely ridiculous. Last year at homecoming we got hassled in the alumni lot about "drinking games" several times. On one of those occasions, someone was simply pouring a beer into another person's mouth. We were not carrying on or impeding anyone's ability to enjoy the tailgate. If those of legal drinking age are accosted and hassled over nothing, I can't imagine what it's like being a student in Lot 14.

100% agree that he could be a legit No. 2 somewhere. All I want is for him to get an opportunity to show off the talent that we all know he has.

Collins is absolutely a better player; there is no doubt that he should have been starting over T. I was referring to his social media presence and the stories about how he responded to being a healthy scratch for several weeks. Once things stop going the way T wants, he turns into a total diva.

Such a shame. I feel like his attitude is going to be his downfall, much like it almost was at TU. It's brutal to read posts on the Ravens subreddit when his name gets brought up...

Must win, as are all of the remaining four. Obviously need our D to step up in a big way. Can't expect much success if you're giving up 500 ypg and 35 ppg.
