Maharba10 8 Report post Posted August 24, 2020 Everyone gets another year. Seniors do not count against scholarships limits.....but they still have to be paid. What does that mean for Towson football? I'm sure post COVID budgets won't allow for a full signing class in 2021. Do they only sign 6-8 kids? In lax, seniors had obs lined up, so many didn’t return this fall. In football, I can see the same thing. A lot of guys will graduate and not return. They’ll spread some ships out. It will sort itself out. I trust that it will sort itself out...but at what cost? I would imagine the football team demographic is a bit different from the lax demographic as far as ability to pay. May not be as simple as spreading out some ships. A lot of these seniors won't be coming back if they can't play in the spring. A lot of our guys have had serious injury issues including ACLs. If most return, then the incoming class might not be as big as expected or they would just bring a lot of preferred walk-on types. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
