They'll wind up at either 12-6 or 11-7. Either record is disappointing but let's look at the difference from last year's 25-win team that of course, came up short in the tournament. 2021-22 Averaged 72.9 points and allowed 64.3 ppg 2022-23 Averages 71.8ppg and allows 67.1ppg 2021-22 Shot 44.8% from the field and allows 41.4% from the field 2022-23 Shoots 44.6% from the field and allows 42.4% 2021-22 Shot 35.7% from three-point range and allowed just 31.5% from three-point range 2022-23 Leads CAA in three-point shooting (37.6%), but allows 34.2 from beyond the arc. 2021-22 Shot 71.9% from the free throw line and made 13.9 per game. 2022-23 Has attempted 520 free throws and has made 70.4% (12.2 per game). 2021-22 Rebounding margin +6.1. 2022-23 Rebounding margin: +5.5 2021-22 Turnover margin +1.0 (11.9 turnovers, 12.9 turnovers forced). Assist/turnover ratio 1.1 2022-23 Turnover margin: -0.2 (12.1 turnovers per game, 11.9 force turnovers per game). Assist/turnover ratio: 1.2 More turnovers and weaker three-point defense this season. A little less on the boards and a bit better passing team. A much better three-point shooting team, but less free throws made.
