This is a much bigger team than last season. Sek is legit 7-1, 235 and pretty cut. Embeya put on 15 pounds, but I'd like to see him a little more aggressive on the offensive end. Did make a three-point shot day in 5-on-5 action. Sek can negate any big man we play but if we play a 6-8 shooter like a John Camden-type at small ball center, I don't think he can defend a player like that and not sure he and Embeya will be much more than dunkers and layup guys in the offense. However, Tyler Tejada, at 15 pounds heavier, should get more points in the lane because he has more strength to get to the basket and post up. He also should be much more active on the boards. Jake Doumbia, the Wright State transfer, was impressive as another ballhandler at 6-6. Somewhat similar to Mekhi Lowery, but a better offensive performer with slashing ability and some midrange game. Not a three-point shooter, though he's working on it. Biggest issue to me is his FT shooting (61% LY) and he struggled today. But he's also a secondary ballhandler and can play some point forward. That's why you get a Doumbia, because that will give Chike Ndefo and Jaquan Womack the chance to develop and hopefully take over for him and probably Tejada next season. Womack (6-7, 225) impressed me the most. He's a better three-point shooter than I anticipated seeing even after watching many highlights from his Paul VI days. Looked very confident, excellent rebounder and has the length to be a very good defender. But as with most freshmen, that can be a learning curve playing against bigger wings and power forwards at this level. Chike Ndefo (6-7, 215) has improved after sitting out last season. I see great things for him in the future, though not sure he's ready in his first season playing D1 ball. Still is a post player trying to play wing. A little like TJPR because he's explosive and can get after it on the boards. Had a great block today where he came out of nowhere to swat it off the glass. The biggest question is how many minutes will these guys get because Tejada is going to play 30+ and Doumbia at least 25+. I think when you look at DWill, you know he can score. But with Tyler Schmidt on the wing and Jaiden Cole returning to the fold, you have more 3-point shooters in the mix compared to last season when he had few options to dish the ball to. Schmidt wasn't great today, but he's known as a marksman (39%) and you can see there are some Antonio Rizzuto attributes (similar size, but he's not as athletic). Has quick hands and does other things aside from shoot, but his key is to make open 3s. I don't think Cole has to be great. He could be serviceable as a backup point guard but not sure he's much more than a shooter. He's an upgrade over Rad Hicks, though not sure he's a better defender. I think if PS is looking for that Hicks-type to come in just for defense, that could be freshman Jon Barton (6-3, 215). You look at him on the surface and he looks a little like N. Tarke because he's left-handed and built like a linebacker. But he's more of a combo or even a point guard. He has no problem getting into the lane and finishing off contact. I know he could shoot in HS, but want to see more of him on the perimeter along with the big kid Brandon Holmes from Mt. St. Joe's. I know he has the size, but didn't really see him do a whole lot and that's because it's tough to get on the floor when you're the 4th-string center. Add small ball centers like Tyler Coleman (was injured) and Womack, so I assume he's redshirting unless another big gets hurt or he's tremendous. So I still see DWill, Schmidt, Doumbia, Tejada and Sek with Embeya, Womack, Ndefo and either Cole/Barton or both as backup guards (one other option I'll mention in next update). As for schedule, still waiting on some schools. Most of the stuff mentioned before on the general board is true. Also had issues with my tape recorder on my phone. For some reason, it didn't tape.5 points

On schedule "Anytime you open on the road three weeks in a row. You look at that and go, ok, what do we have to get done. The good news is that two of the games are in the state of Maryland (Morgan, Md). Opening up with an opponent in Norfolk State, not knowing what they are going to do is interesting. I know a little bit about what they're going to do offensively because Brian Sheppard (former OC) is their OC and was with us the last two years. Defensively, not sure it's what they did at Florida Memorial or different places. Not having film of what they've done in the past is difficult. Excited about a Thursday matchup and there's a lot of excitement about Coach Vick being there." On the new OC "New system. Completely different way of doing things. Fresh new start. (will be more involved with play calling)." On QB situation "It's as open as there can be. You have two guys who have started eight+ games. That's re-assuring knowing that you have experience there. We've had a limited amount of time that the NCAA gives us in the summer. We've given guys opportunties. (Freshman Andrew Inrdorf) is very advanced for a high school quarterback. Wants to learn and grown. Has had a very good summer. Great arm." On offensive issues last season "Number one, the purpose of offense is to score more points. We've been at 24 or 25 points per game. We need to score more points and get better on third down. That would take care of a lot of our issues." At WR "We returned Jaceon Doss, John Dunmore, Perkins, Reynolds and Londono. We have a handful of guys who play the position well. (UConn transfer) Jarvis (Jones) gives us depth. Cleveland Charlton (redshirt) will help out as well on depth." TE "Tight end is a wide open spot for us. Lose an All-American is a big void. Bryce Butler from Ohio has done a good job. Jack Mahoney, a true freshman, has done well. Excited about the depth. Butler is not 6-6 but he can put his hand on the ground and play in the backfield. Carter played 60% in the wing position. It will be similar." At RB "Al Wooten has done a great job. Both freshmen joined us later. Look at their HS stats and what they were able to produce and it's exciting. Ike (Daniels) had a strong spring." On OL "Playing with that and trying to see what the best five are. (KJ Brooks) played about 18 games at right tackle. We have some nice combinations there. We returned (Volpe, Germain, Brooks), Ian Miller played a lot for us at center. Joden Nelson and Bhular. We have some really good competition to find the next best guy. Mike (Williams) has done a nice job of getting comfortable. (Cousar) did a really good job. Exciting to see how this plays out." On defense "I thought our defense did a great job. We chopped our points down. We got better on third down. I want to see us get better on third downs and give up less explosive plays". On Defensive line "Treyvon Adams, JT Black, Wyatt Draeger were three great additions as transfers. They've come in and worked their tail off this summer to put themselves as a great spot for us. Hammond (big freshman) is a big body at 6-5, 285 and looks the part. Black has been very impressive against whomever he plays against. Probably 6-0, 280 and moves well. Aaron Clark and the guys who went through the spring (Stegall and Boyd) had a great summer. It's a position where we had pretty good depth and should be pretty good." On linebackers "We lost some productive guys, but I love who we brought in and love what they're doing. Feel very good about that position again and getting guys in the right spot and direction. Myler Turner (6-1, 255) is an inside linebacker. (UMass transfer). Both freshmen, Ben Kumpon and Seth Chestnut can help us. On the outside, TJ Sands will be playing some nickel and CJ McClendon played last season at nickel. We have a deep group that has experience and youth." On secondary "Brodie has done everything right and just has really improved. Xavier Terry has played a ton of football for us. Kaden White played a lot for us. Jasin Shiggs played a lot for us and Emiril Gant played a lot. Shiggs, White at safety, Great competition there. At corner, Emiril, Za Brown, Kavon McKinney as a true freshman. Cody Williams at safety. Meeko Lodge will be a nickel." On third season "We have a lot of guys in place who understand how we're doing things. Probably best run summer that we've had. Guys are dialed in. Liked the culture of the team. Excited to add the new guys. Most of them have been here this summer." On first recruiting class "Those guys are now apart of everything we're doing." On CAA departures "Every conference has had (FCS, FBS) has had change. A look at different conferences and go ok, what they thought was a bad situation and two years later, it turns out well. We're in a fluid situation and we're just going to keep plugging forward." First preason practice is July 284 points

We came out ready to play against St. Mary's and had a pretty solid effort. We just didn't have enough size, but good fight. Three of the next four were not great performances. We showed some good fight to pull out really ugly wins against Morgan State and Nicholls State, completely laid an egg against South Carolina, and had some flashes in JMU win. I still liked how we played against UC Irvine, but we came up short. The effort was there against Kennesaw State and Kent Stat were there, but we had injuries and also didn't play very well. The non-conference really unraveled with the UMBC and Duquesne efforts, and blowing the big lead to Robert Morris stung. To the credit of Skerry and the players, the win over Bryant seemed like it gave us some momentum going into a very successful conference season. I just feel like this program should be 100 or better in the NET by conference play every year, and once every 2-3 years it would be nice to have a year like 2021-22 where we find ourselves in that top 60-70 range. This is what good all-around programs do if we aspired to be one4 points

Here are some pictures from practice today to show some of the newcomers and how big Tejada and others are. Tyler Coleman was out injured. Here is Mor Sek, No. 32 standing next to DWill. He';s 7-1, 235. Embeya is 6-9, 240. This is newcomer Jon Barton, a 6-3, 215-pound lefty freshman. Last picture is Tejada (6-9, 236) and Tyler Schmidt (6-4, 190). Jack Doumbia is No. 33 and watching (6-6, 210)3 points

Better late than never. I found the interview from Tuesday with PS "I like the group. They play pretty hard. We move as well as we have and have good bodies. The key on offense is whether we can take care of the ball, eventually define roles and why that's important to the success of the team. There are good pieces. I've been really pleased with how much work these guys put in on their own.. Tyler and Dylan are in every morning at 8am for extra shooting. That sets the tone for other guys. I like our group, but we're not a Towson team yet defensively, but we have the ability to be pretty good on that end of the floor." "This is our sixth week. Two days a week is heavy skill and two days a week we've been playing more." "I thought Womack was really good (today). Ndefo when he plays games, makes a lot happen. Doumbia is talented and can do some stuff from Point A and Point B. We are better at the 5 (center) because...Mor (Sek) is big, Caleb has gotten better and Abdou has gotten a lot better. These guys have worked. I have to watch some film to see what we're doing well and not doing well." On freshmen "Barton is going to be a good player. He's ready right now defensively. He's fine on offense. He has to learn to keep it simple. He's a combo guard. He's a tank at 215 pounds and gets his hands on a lot of balls." On rebounding "I expect us to be all over the glass. Tyler Coleman was playing well (injured). Tyler Tejada is rebounding a lot more. His body at 236 can take some hits. Didn't shoot that well today. Dylan is gifted." On Womack "Those guys know how to win and understand winning. Especially Womack. Comes from a hell of a program in Paul VI. These guys aren't in shape yet for transition. We look good physically. We don't look like we have little boys. Even Jaiden (Cole) looks bigger than two seasons ago. He's gotten better. He has a good feel. Has to do it on the (defensive side)." On rotation "We have some guys that can really shoot, glass guys, centers, Towson attackers. The roles are going to be really important. We have the ability to define some of those and get more out of that. A fight at times." On Tyler Schmidt "Didn't shoot it great today, but he's going to get it off. Last Thursday, he makes most of his shots." On Schedule "Should be five home games non-conference. Four neutral, four away. We have to re-issue a new contract for Sacred Heart. Two non-1s home games. Hopefully we can get someone to start here, Cornell, Norfolk State and Sacred Heart. Loyola downtown. Three neutral games in Disney. Kansas, Central Florida, Houston and JMU. Tough schedule." On Tyler and Dylan coming back "Says a lot about the staff, the kids, the families. My AD and President are making more of a commitment. We know what our goals are this year. We talked about those Day 1. How many days can we have good days to put us that position. We take a lot of pride in how good we've been in. This is going to be a good group. They're going to be tested early. But it starts with Dylan and Tyler. I'm enjoying coaching them. I don't take any of that stuff for granted. It's their team, not my team. They're ready for that (leadership). Gentlemen and good people. I trust Dylan to make good reads. We shot it so bad early last season. The three-point shot is a weapon. If we can shoot it, it's going to open things up. Doumbia is a big 3 guys. Wright State brought him off the bench last season. He's working on his three-point shot. When Coach Conway recruited him, I asked why didn't we get him out of high school and he said he's gotten really good."3 points

https://towsontigers.com/sports/football/roster?view=2 No transfer QB. Freshman Andrew Indorf (6-1,195) from Miami will likely be given a shot. But a couple of transfers added at WR in Jarvis Jones (6-2, 185) from UConn, who is a redshirt sophomore. Here are the other additions since the spring. Most were brought up in the transfer thread. *WR Jarvis Jones (6-2, 185, UConn), r-soph. *TE Bryce Butler (6-2, 250, Ohio U.), grad student, Bowie, Md, St. John's College (HS) *TE Peyton Faulkner (6-4, 245, Kent State), freshman, Pittsburgh *RB Al Wooten II (6-0, 230, Duke/Mercer), Grad student, Memphis. Solid numbers at FCS. Didn’t play much at Duke. *OL Michael Williams (6-6, 310, Florida), r-freshman, Upper Marlboro C.H Flowers HS *LB Myles Turner (6-1, 255, UMass), grad student, Wheaton, Bullis School *LB Ja'Mez Drummer (6-1, 225, ODU), senior, Samford, Fla. *LB Shama Graham (6-1, 225, Va. Union), Grad Student, Richmond *DL Wyatt Draeger (6-4, 285, San Diego State) Grad Student, Reno, Nevada *DL Treyvon Adams (6-1, 275, JMU), r-freshman, Rome, Ga. *DB Carnell Davis (6-1, 185, Duquesne), Grad Student, Melbourne, Fla. *DB Bryan Lodge (6-3, 200, NE Oklahoma A&M), junior, West Park, Fla. *DB Nigel Henderson (5-10, 175, Stonehill), Calvert Hall HS3 points

After one practice and hope to see them again (should have seen more but they tend to alter the schedule in the summer at the last minute). Here are the keys in my opinion: 1)Tyler Schmidt has to be a three-point weapon. He was around 38% last season at Valpo and 41% at Nazarene. Has some Four-like tendencies (85% FT) but a legit 6-4. Not near the athlete that May was, so he may have some issues defending, but does have quick hands (41 steals) and showed that when I watched him in 5-on-5 situations. Can do other things like rebound. 2)Jack Doumbia has to be a better Mekhi Lowery, who did some many things last season. Lowery was the primary ballhandler and secondary when he was on the floor. Also, one of the top defenders, but he couldn't score consistently and never took a shot past 6 feet. Doumbia put up 21 and 13 against Detroit, 21 points and 6 assists against Eastern Michigan, 23 points, 13 rebounds and five assists against Fort Wayne. He definitely can be a third option at times, but he also had nine turnovers in his last three games. FT shooting (61%) also has to get better. Was 4 of 13 from three-point range last season, so I think he'll shoot more of them, but probably not a factor in that department. Defense should be solid and will need ot be. 3)The freshmen have to produce off the bench. Jaquan Womack is one of the most talented freshmen Skerry has ever brought in. That's not hyperbole. Look at who wanted him (GMU, GW, Iona). Comes from a great program in Paul IV and yes, Tyler Coleman came from there and has been disappointing to say the least, but I know people will wonder what I'm smoking, but he's a Lowery-like athlete now after losing all that weight. Either way, he's not a factor if Womack plays up to his potential at the 4 and 5 spot. You add Chike Ndefo, who has some of that TJPR explosiveness as a r-freshman and will hit the glass. If he and Womack can be 32% or higher from 3pt, crash the boards and defend, that would help the bench tremendously. Jon Barton might not contribute at all if they redshirt him, but if not, they can use him on defense to slow down a bigger guard (like Drexel had last season). I don't see Brandon Holmes playing this season, though I've heard he has looked good in the summer. He's about 6-9, 245ish but haven't seen what his weight looks like on the roster. 4)Need something from the five spot. Our starting center last season was Messiah Jones, who averaged 3.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in 17mpg. I don't expect a lot more statistically from Sek (7-1, 235) and probably similar minutes. But he has to protect the rim, which obviously Messiah couldn't do at 6-5. Embeya averaged 3.9ppg and 3.4rpg. So that's about 8ppg and 7rpg from your two centers with 25 blocks from Jones and 17 from Caleb. Embeya has to step up and with 15 more pounds, there's no excuse for him not to grab at least 5rpg and average 5ppg. That's not a lot but they don't need a lot of scoring from the 5 spot. They do need more size and they added that with the 7-1 Sek. We looked so small when we played teams like UNCW, Charleston, Saint Mary's, South Carolina and even UC Irvine, who was huge. Shouldn't have that issue this season. 5)Will the losses hurt? Jones gave it his all but was limited on both ends. Shot 44.7% from the field. Would have been better used off the bench. Same with Sulaiman (39% FG, 7pg 4.2pg). Those guys were limited athletically and both started. Again, gave it their all. Then you throw in Tarke (11.3ppg, 38% FG, 29% 3pt), May (36% FG, 31% 3pt, 61% FT), and Lowery (53% FT). All good dudes, but I don't see us missing them on the offensive end. Maybe on the boards and the last 3 on defense could be losses. Offensively, this team should be better overall. But Doumbia (6rpg), Schmidt (3.5rpg) and with a bigger Tyler, the boards shouldn't be the issue. 6)Tejada and DWill have to lead the way. I think Dylan is more vocal and Tyler does it with his work ethic. As PS mentioned, those guys are in at 8am getting shots up. Tejada added 16 pounds not just for show. He wants to be better on the boards and there's no reason he should average 3.9 rebounds per game at 6-8, 236. Also has to be better defensively. Same with Dylan. They don't need to be on the all-defensive team, but they have to be better on the defensive end. 7)Backup point guard. Jaiden Cole? Jon Barton? Doumbia? Another option? That would be my biggest concern thus far but we're not asking for 15mpg. DWill is going to play 30+. Rad Hicks came in, didn't turn the ball over much and defended well. That's all you need from Cole, Barton or the other option. We don't miss HIcks' offense, but he did other things pretty well. 8)The additional size needs to be used in the right way. Embeya is now 240. He has to play bigger. He won't get pushed around as much, but he has to stop being passive in the paint. Tejada at the 4 can still back down most of the wings in the CAA at 236. Sek is bigger than I expected, but I haven't really seen much of a post game. It is the summer so they are working on the basics, but I'd like to see him as a rim-runner and lob threat. Barton at 215 can get in the lane with ease. Womack at 225 is now a threat from the perimeter, but can't forget he can work down low. I thought he'd be a little like Cacok when he added more weight. Might be a little like him, but with a 3-point shot by his sophomore season. Ndefo is around 215 but doesn't mind contact at 6-7. Sulaiman would occasionally use his size down low, but he couldn't explode off two feet like Chike can. Like this group. They have a lot of work to do, but it's more fun watching a team that has questions but so much potential. Last season, we pretty much knew what we had other than Embeya and Ndefo. Chike got the redshirt and Caleb had a mixed bag freshman season. Improved defensively but a ways to go on offense. This squad has the potential. I'd like to see where they are in October compared to July after a lot of reps.2 points

This has a chance to be a better, bigger, deeper, stronger shooting and rebounding squad than last season, but will be tough to duplicate the 16-2 record in the CAA. Would take 13-5, a better non-conference record and of course, three wins in D.C. It's early, but I like most of the additions. There aren't many weaknesses, but they will need to improve defensively and I think that's where they will miss May, Lowery and Tarke. Need to take care of the ball and push it more to take advantage of Doumbia, Womack and Chike's athleticism. While we might miss those perimeter guys defensively (Doumbia should be a + defender), we add a player with a 7-5 wingspan who is a legit rim protector in Sek. I know he wasn't very good last season on a bad team. He just needs to be solid defensively at the 5. No offense to Messiah Jones, but I felt bad for him at times last season going up against guys 6-9 and taller at around 6-5, 235.2 points

Can we use some of the games we get paid to pay others? Also if the league has problems scheduling… go to 20 games. Would rather an extra game against uncw Charleston then goucher and Salisbury.1 point

Feels like we have the pieces on offense, aside from the most important spot solidified1 point

Not going to defend the non-D1s on the schedule. Don't love that, but most teams won't come to SECU (middies) unless they get $$$$ and it's imperative that we get 4-5 home non-conference home games each season. Even some of the locals are asking for $$$ to play us at SECU. But I think having Houston, UCF, and Kansas isn't just about adding better competition. They are also guaranteed games, and we earn a bit of money with them, as well as the ESPN Tournament, to assist with NIL matters. UNCW can put together a meh schedule, but they have enough dough to consistently add quality transfer portal dudes without playing bigger programs. Same with Charleston. We need to be more creative in our scheduling to help out.1 point

Hard to know, but seems like he feels comfortable enough with Brown and Kent, and likes the upside of Inrdorf enough to not feel a need to get a transfer FBS QB. As we know from the past, it seems to be about a 10-20% hit rate in terms of getting a really good QB here. I wish were better at it, but if we can develop a good QB I am all for that too. I don't care how it gets done, as long as we can start getting better QB play from year-to-year moving forward. That also has a lot to do with the quality of the O-line too. I am cautiously optimistic for year three. It was Shinnick's breakout season at UNC-Pembroke, the ramp-up year for the big breakout at West Florida, and was also the year Rob Ambrose started our great three-year run from 2011-13. This is his program now, and it is a big year for Towson football (as we have talked about quite a bit) in general with the shifting landscape. We have to start working our way out of this cycle of mediocrity that has mostly existed since 2014.1 point

Well he has to be concerned about something. It’s the summer and we have six new players trying to jell with the current guys. To me, it’s not a major concern because DWill is still the main ball handler, but they want Doumbia to take a big role as a secondary and sometimes primary ball handler. He’s a good passer but sometimes he can be loose with the ball. Not sold on Cole being the backup point guard, but a lot of changes could take place between now and late September, and they have other options.1 point

I’m inclined to chalk this up to off-the-cuff coach speak, nearly 4 months prior to opening tipoff. My goal is we make it to that opening game free of any serious injuries. He does need to figure out who’s going to be the backup PG though. Barring injury, it’s not going to be a position that gets a lot of play, as I would imagine DWill is going to play 30+ mpg1 point

Appreciate it, but I don't interview people to grill them or I might not get privileges like watching practice. I do that after the games. Nothing really surprised me. I've heard that they really like Andrew Indorf at QB, but I wasn't sure he was going to be that positive about him. Usually, coaches are very hesitant about talking about how good freshmen are. At least he was honest about how the offense and defense both struggled on third downs and that has to be corrected. He's a tough interview because he talks mainly in generalities. Doesn't even get into the OL situation and which players are fighting for which jobs. He knows he has to win this season. That's no secret and if he doesn't make the playoffs, the heat will really be on. Then we can say, "why didn't he bring in a transfer QB or two?" I should have asked him about why he didn't get a transfer QB, but I think it's more about this kid and possibly Watkins. I could be wrong, but I think he believed in Kent more than Brown, which is part of the reason why Sheppard is at Norfolk State. I also think he wanted to call plays again as he did at West Florida. He made an issue about the offense not scoring enough points last season and Brown was the QB most of the way. I don't think it was an OL issue because we were top 4 in the league in yards per carry. I do wonder if we rely more on the running game this season with the addition of Al Wooten II and some talented freshmen. Didn't really get too much into the CAA departures. I didn't expect he'd go off and elaborate on record. Gordy and Rob were much different in terms of these interviews, but they knew me. I'm not sure Pete even knows my name. Maybe he'd be a little more forthright if he knew me for years as the other two.1 point

Well, so much for bringing in an FBS QB. Interesting that he threw bouquets at the incoming freshman QB from Miami, Indorf, but nothing in Mat’s article about him mentioning Watkins, the RS freshman QB. Well, unless he turns the keys over to a true freshman (which I find hard to believe) it’s Brown and/or Kent. Not very inspiring, but hope springs eternal I suppose. Also, did I read correctly that our OC from last season is now the OC at Norfolk State, our opening game opponent? A grudge match in addition to Vick’s debut as a HC1 point

@mat1992 Great stuff as usual. Thank you for sharing this Q&A. For all of us on here that want as much information about our teams we take what we can get and appreciate you taking the time to do stuff like this. I know on your side you have to "play nice" a little since they are giving you this opportunity, but was there anything said that surprised you at all during your conversation?1 point

Munchie also had an offer from Manhattan. Considered one of the better on-ball defenders in the 2026 class. I've seen him listed at 5-11, 6-0, and 6-1. Guessing around 6-0, 160, which would be around Dylan's size when he came out of Good Counsel. Not saying he's Dylan, but maybe more of a creator and penetrator. Guys like that have to adjust their play at the next level. Get bigger and stronger to play through contact and then become a playmaker. Good thing is that Sajid is a combo guard and they can play off each other-eventually. When the time comes, they'll need two transfer guards. One wing and one point guard.1 point

Thanks for all of your research. Lots of moving parts here. As opposed to the old days , when only D1 schools would pay for summer classes and lodging, Towson now provides the same resources as UMD etc. this is critical with the transfer portal and , in most cases, ahead of our conference rivals.1 point

Interesting to see an offer for another two-guard after we just got a commitment from one, though Mani Sajid (24th-ranked SG), is also considered a combo guard. I see us probably adding 3 HS players in the early class, but a PG is a must with DWill graduating and likely transferring for his last season. Will be checking out the team at least once next week. Hearing a bunch of guys added weight over the summer. Can't wait to see a bulkier Tejada (235ish) and Embeya (gained 15lbs). Brandon Holmes, a the big freshman from Mount St. Joe's (6-9, 240) apparently has been a surprise. Not sure if he's going to redshirt or not.1 point

Love this get. Kid had offers from East Carolina, Xavier, Temple, La Salle, Penn State, Albany, St. Joe’s & Bryant, with schools like Minnesota, Notre Dame and Georgetown sniffing around. An athletic 6’5 SG who can shoot. How long have we been waiting for a guy with this kind of potential? 4-star recruit, per some recruiting services. I think I read that 24/7 has him just on the outside of the top 100 recruits nationwide. Say what you will about Skerry, but he’s really stepped up his recruiting game, with kids like Tejada, DWill, Womack etc1 point
