As was mentioned earlier, this is a temporary problem. Pretty soon the "Power howevermany" will get tired of sharing their money with the Mids and that will be the end of what we now know as March madness. The Towson of the world will wind up playing in some version of an NIT. Just as most folks don't know who won the FCS Bowl title, no one will care about the basketball title as well. I could be wrong, but it certainly is a significant possibility. Just hate where college athletics has gone.
