I get it and I hear all of the comments about both Rob and Pat but I just don't agree. Does anyone know the common thread between their success? THE AD. Ever since the transition of Waddell being out the programs have become progressively worse. I dont have the peek behind the curtain to see what funding looks like across the board but to me the issue is at the top and we are playing catch up with the top tier programs across the conference.

I agree, no reason not to give Miller a shot. He's been a part of the program for 3 years, it can't get that much worse than Ferguson's numbers

You're right, this team is trash. Didn't deserve any of the 3 wins and all 3 losses should have been by even more. They have no shot at the playoffs and should just forfeit the rest of the season.

I feel like you’d rather be right than have them win. We just beat the #12 team in the country, try and have 1 oz of excitement

First and foremost, these are serious allegations and disgusting. But 1) he's not on the roster as of today (to be honest, I dont even know if he was on the 2021 roster before 9/16). So I would say actions have been taken pretty quickly 2) I wouldn't think this is someting that anyone knew about prior to 9/16. 3) The university, Rob or anyone can probably not comment legally so I am not sure what the Studen Union wants as an action.

I'd assume we get them at least 4 games of reps to keep their red shirt but i definitely agree.

Who is the answer? Who is the right coach to turn this around? My concern is that there isn't anyone. One would think Rob has the exact qualifications that you would want... former player, FBS coaching experience (as a coordinator) and contacts around the local area to get players. I think these issues run significantly deeper than the HC's around the programs. We don't have the support; financially, resources and fanbase. How do we change that? I know he wasn't a great person but Waddell was the one who turned the ship IMO. When did football and hoops start to win? When MW was here. IMO it is not Rob and Pat (they are always lumped together) its the AD.

Kind of agree here, be like Villanova, good in the Big East and drop down to the CAA for football. Seems like an all or nothing type of endeavor for them though

While I am generally a VERY optomistic fan on this board, lets not get out of control with we are capable of beating JMU. There are a lot of unanswered questions with this roster.

Most of those teams got those games for opening a new arena, no? While TCU is bigger powerhouse as a program I feel like getting Temple to come in when the arena opened was a bigger draw.

Maybe it helps him get creative.

I do think his willingness to play special teams will help 2 fold. 1) he can get a spot on ST, not only as a returner, but on Kickoff/Punt 2) it’s less snaps for him and could let him stay healthier.

I was really hoping to open this thread and hear that Miller was playing great and Pass didnt want to sit behind him so we needed to pick up a backup. Is there any way that is true????

Mat, any idea if this means anything for Darrick Jones? Feel like we have a bunch of guys ahead of him on the depth chart. He seems like an elite athlete that we’d want to stay for the long haul.
