I don’t remember one game last season where this core of players didn’t play hard and fight to get the win. We are still the “hunters” in my opinion! Rocky 2!What fanbase?

I’m liking this Goh Tigers marketing blitz. Wish we had called up the comedian, Stavros from Greektown to really hit the hard Baltimore O’s. Anyways it’s a good rallying cry to get the year going. Let’s Goh! Drinking natty boh! Tigers gonna put on a show!I agree! Try something new.
get Scott Van Pelt on it! Guy loves the long O. O’s and Natry Bob’s Hon!

With knowing Conway hasn’t played a ton of live game action in a couple years I’d think they’d schedule an extra scrimmage/exhibition in to get him more live game action.
To me it’s all about how this team gels and if they have that same chip on their shoulder. If they come in over confident that they’re just gonna roll over everyone because we had a little taste of success last year they’re going to be shell shocked and the results will be disappointing.
They’ve all been saying the right things but let’s hope they prove it starting in November.

I think it’s one extreme or the other 8-3 or 3-8. We’ll see what these transfers are made of once some adversity hits against WVU

Played some as a r-freshman in 2019 and had nine tackles and two QB hurries. Didn't play much in 2020 (doesn't count). At Butler, had 33 tackles and two picks in eight games in 2021. My guess he'll play inside backer since we have so many bodies at the EDGE. I really want to see who can step up as starters. I think we'll have some real competition defensively on the line and at linebacker. But everything is about the pass rush. No pass rush, no pass defense.

Any idea why he left Oregon?

Wouldn’t be shocked if we are in the top 50

If Towson can find money for some good giveaways I think that’ll draw student fans. People go nuts for floppy bucket hat night. Dr. E and whoever needs to design a towson Hawaiian or a trendy bucket hat.
I disagree with the give a ways. That’s a short term gain (1 game). There has to be some sort of long term engagement with the fans to keep them coming back. Not just a flash in the pan.

Let Nick finish his career and we’ll see if that goes to 1-6…

Mat, there’s one not here because he never played. But I still believe If Terrance Whiters played with Gary we would’ve made the tournament. He was demolishing Mike Green in practice during his redshirt year.

Still bothers me MD and Georgetown won’t play us.

Vegas will have it at.. Clemson -3 I’m predicting 😃Better than Pitt

Wait, she’s mad about the chair being adjusted???
to me this hire isn’t about keeping a core of players for the short term but building a program for the long term, like the mens program with PS (Right 2012). I get we could’ve kept this current core but that’s thinking short term and a risk for a new AD who doesn’t get to put his thumb on his athletic department, as Mat stated.
I think keeping Zach wouldve been a mistake.

Everything I hear up in NJ has been very positive about Conway and people are sad to see him go. Hope it’s our gain

I think part of that is some job security. He’s not willing to sell his sole for wins and put the program in a situation like the one he started in.

He posted on 4/6 “Run it back” if he changes his mind this quickly I don’t want him here.

Gotta love how much fun they were to watch this past season. Hopefully even more fun to be had with the squad that’s returning. We could be Maryland’s best basketball school, why not us!?
We have to be the early favorites in the CAA, right?

1 minute ago, TSU88 said:Fascinating to me that guys are still trickling into the portal, notwithstanding that the season has been over for more than 3 weeks, in terms of the National Championship game. In point of fact, for some teams, the season has been over for close to 2 months, counting from when many teams had their season end in conference tournaments which took place in early March.
I think a bunch of that has to do with coaching changes and timing of them. Example: FDU just parted ways with their HC. Tough look for those kids to make a decision in a couple days..

Got it, didn’t realize he was that big of a cancer. Ya know if you’re not gonna tell us the behind the scenes stuff we can’t be expected to know why guys leave.

Maybe we are pretty good and played a BRUTAL non conference schedule.

Wm looks like a dumpster fire currently. But they will get some good kids to come in via transfer. Like you said it’s a very good degree.
Tony Shaver never made the tournament but he avoided the program being a dumpster fire like this…
grass ain’t always greener
Towson beats Bucknell 14-13 in overtime, but....The ship be sinking

You’re not wrong but I just don’t look forward to hearing you say the same thing over and over again for the next 10 weeks.
