So the question is ... what's up with coaching? As you point out, numerous logic-defying decisions. (Not to mention weak recruiting since the Drenner/Jack Adams class graduated.) What is his contract situation?

Yesterday's double-header sweep of Hofstra put us at 15-22. Doesn't sound impressive till you consider that this team started out 2-13. We're 13-9 since then. You have to hand it to the players and coaches for hanging and resurrecting the season. We're 5-1 in the CAA, so who knows what's ahead.

Are something of a joke. Holy Cross gets in with an impressive record of ... 3-0. (Of course, they get the top seed, South Dakota State, as a reward.) Delaware is in at 5-0, and has an easily winnable first-round game against Sacred Heart. They'll probably get JMU in the quarterfinals. N.D. State actually lost two games during the "regular season," so I'm curious to see how the Bye-zun fare (and I wonder if that program is finally coming back to earth a bit; if so, that might give us hope against them in the fall).

What can anyone say that hasn't been said too many times these past couple of years. Can't win face-offs and we make too many fundamental errors at key moments. Horrible pass at the end when we were a man up and had a chance to tie.

Congrats to the ladies. Women's sports are brightest stars in the TU sky. Gymnastics acquitted themselves well at the regionals, even though they won't advance.

Unfortunately, I don't think Skerry can bring in decent shooters because our program now has a "stink" about it that sends them running to the arms of others. Yes, he has attracted *some* solid players, but they tend to leave early, and he does little to improve the ones who theoretically could rise to that level. Like almost everyone else on this board, I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't have actual hope.

Hill never impressed all that much at U-Md., but he could put URI in the conversation this fall. Meanwhile, Delaware rolled for a second straight week. Henderson, the sophomore QB, threw for three TDs, so the blue chickens could be building off their uptick in 2019.

Too bad for volleyball. They've been rolling -- hate to see their momentum lose any steam. As for lax ... I sensed another loss coming, so we dodge that bullet, at least for one week.

Mount St. Mary's is back in the tournament -- for what I think is the sixth time. Another point of comparison in our ongoing futility.

And will there be a spring game?

Ed -- is Juwan Pass here for spring practice? I don't see him on the roster.

Does Lewis have COVID? Is he injured?
