  1. What was left on his contract?  I know they should have a decent year next year but if he had only one or two years left on a contract it is kind of hard to recruit.  New guy with those players have a better chance beyond 2019-2020 season than keeping him for one more year with possibility it does not work out.

This is really an impressive schedule that we have put together. It is exciting to have this opportunity tonight and to still have three top-10 teams left on the schedule in Cornell, Duke, and Denver. Hopefully, we can get the win tonight.

Including tonight's game with the above three that are remaining, realistically how would everyone expect us to do?  I think a split of these four would be good.  At this point however is 2-2 a disappointment?  2-2 to mean would be great anything more is gravy!

  3. Said by multiple people already in this thread.  Bad to average teams lose these types of games and good teams win them, so I guess the right team won.  This is the kind of game where you need that go to guy to get you a basket when you need it.  The go to guy ALWAYS finds a way to get the ball in his hands no matter how many guys are guarding him.

  4. Great win and know that with young teams that you are going to have some ups and downs.  Definitely one to grow on but fans cannot swing back the other way if Hofstra comes in and whips us.  You need to be competitive at home and get what you get on the road.

I'm going to follow and root and support Towson sports through the ups and the downs.  I am not going to log in and pay a service to watch games online.  Once someone wises up and gets a damn TV contract I will watch on ESPN3, NBCSports CBSS.  When that happens I will be in the chat more since I can actually SEE it.  Until then I will follow the game through Twitter and hope for the best.  Spoiler alert I learned for all Towson sports when there is a long time between tweets, things are not going our way.  When things are going good game tweets are constant!

Or it might mean we didn’t get to see the game and don’t have any comments about it without sounding foolish.

Very true.  Speaking about seeing games I was able to watch Gardner-Webb vs. Radford on ESPNU last night.  What is the commissioner doing that the CAA cannot have a least a game of the week on one of ESPN's networks.

"Tough loss. We couldn't stop them, especially (Morgan). One thing we talked about in shootaround, this was a Super Bowl game for Cornell and a great opportunity for us to face a high-level guard. We're not going to beat a lot of teams when they shoot a high percentage against us. I'll have to watch the tape to know happened."

Why would a road game at Towson be considered a Super Bowl game for Cornell?  What is this man thinking with a comment like that?
